He really didn't have a good game today. He just didn't look as terrible as he did his first two games. He still threw a pick, averaged 6.6 per completion and couldn't throw for 200 yards against the only defense worse than us.

With that being said, if he can play at this level the rest of the season and not look completely terrible, we COULD get a Day 2 pick out of him.

Did you see the pick? LMAO

How about Moore's drop?

His stat line for box score watchers is much better if you swap those 2 plays.

He has alot to prove to show he can be a good player, but today he was solid.

I would disagree. Today he was functional. We are so used to him being dysfunctional that anytime he does something right he is praised. This is the only defense worse than us.

Since we are talking about specifics, did you see the 2-3 dropped picks by the Saints? Or the duck he hurled into the air that looked like a field goal on the Sanders PI?

There you go box score watching. He threw well over 200 yards and no interceptions if the WRs hang out to perfect passes.

You also know he has the worst group of WRs in the league? People like to talk about bad defense and garbage time but don’t like to talk about how he’s playing with bad and garbage.

You can't play this game another not mentioning the 2 dropped ints and wounded duck throws.  The Saints have literally the worst defense in the league and they were missing 3 corners and all Bryce could muster was 16 completions for 171 yards.

Bryce has got y'all fooled as hell due to his abysmal play.  Any other team with that level of performance and the coach would be making a change

Still in here diminishing to pump up Bryce I see.

I guess we all imagined Jalen Coker bailing Bryce Young out multiple times the last 2 games.

Exactly . You can't play the what if game just cherry picking the what ifs that suit your argument and not mentioning the ones that detract from it.

The biggest hurdle to trading Bryce isn't the compensation but the salary Cap implications and the acceleration of his remaining money.

Almost 10 mil in dead cap for a team that has 1.3 million in cap space.

Hes not going anywhere this year.

Barring a miraculous turnaround down the stretch he also won't be here for training camp next year.

We can't trade Bryce in season for cap reasons no matter what we think. I'm not sure why media speculators don't care to dig 1 mm below the surface.

Yeah, they are just trying go pump out content. It takes very little effort to find out this info.

I mean, for the first time in a long time, our group of WR's actually seems competent. DJ was pretty good, AT is/was somehow effective, Coker has been very good, XL has been improving and Sanders has been our best young TE since the Olsen trade.

Not to say it's an elite unit but it's far better than we have had in a very long time.

Odds of being traded.

Sanders, low.  We would trade him, but probably not much of a market.

Clowney, probably our most likely, but I am thinking that we must not be getting many offers.

Thielen, coming off an injury, not likely to get much if we do trade.

No one else really worth discussing.

    • Best to see Icky in the position we drafted him in to see if he continues making progress. All signs point to Canales/Morgan staying on board and so decisions on whether to move him elsewhere on the line will probably be done during the offseason. Personally, I'm more concerned about a more long-term answer at safety and Moton's spot. Love the guy but he's a FA after 2026 and he'll be 32 by then. Kinda has that sign of having to let a player walk one year too early.
    • All I am saying is IMO if we were going to rework or extend his deal I think it would have happened by now.   Just feels like they are going to bite the bullet and let it run its course
    • I mean me speaking honestly per normal- RT is not even on my radar for needing fixing....it sorta should be, but I feel its around 20s in "hey this need attention". Motown could have another 5 years of solid play leftd in his body and mind. I know something needs to done with his contract, its had money pushed back into the late years like three times now. He got like a 38 million cap number cause rhule, frittterererer and this past season Dan deferred money.  I think he's been "healthy" for most of his career and seems to work hard at being able to play. He's a good player to have on the team. I got no idea how this plays out.   We need to have friendly bet about Christs next contract- I say he gets 8million per and 40% guaranteed. If he gets below that, you are the true kungfu master- deal?
