The Vikings are good. I know the Colts are mediocre and trending the wrong direction but still when your QB has three turnovers, you have a fumble returned for a TD against you, and your kicker misses two FGs your odds of winning in the NFL have to be damn near zero and they still won comfortably.

Going up against 39 year old Joe Flacco helps substantially.

It does. But still, when you can overcome that combination of negative plays and still win comfortably in the NFL that's pretty damn impressive.

Imagine Darnold or Baker at qb for us yesterday. Woulda doubled the QB stat line with that protection and yac available

Refs set him up so many times and he couldn't hit a thing.  Everybody has bad games, but at age 39.. that might be it for Flacco.

He just had no ability at all to throw on the move. If you can get him off of his spot the play is basically over for the Colts.

It was a miserable game given they just benched their starter.  Got to think AR gives them at least the same shot to win.

At least AR can run. I do think he would've really struggled against that Vikings D though. They probably disguise coverages and blitzes as good or better than anyone else in the league. Flores may have flopped as a HC but he's a helluva DC.

You can't pay JAGs like franchise QBs. You can build a roster around a JAG on a rookie contract but if that same guy has a franchise QB cap hit you're cooked.

INB4 Brock Purdy $65 mil contract.

Yeah, I am curious to see which of these 2024 QB contracts end up netting any SB rings.

Most likely not. AR just does not see the field well at all. He is best suited to sitting for a while, learning and watching.

He was yawning during their game yesterday. He didn't even look out at the field as far as I could tell. He may be done in Indy and the nfl altogether if he keeps that up.

None.

We will see. That group does still have Goff and he appears to have a team set up for him to succeed. I don't personally believe he is a guy that can elevate the team around him and he has a history of coming up short in crunch time.

Yeah, he really does have some JaMarcus Russell vibes. You really wonder if he loves the game or just happens to be a freak physical specimen that can play QB.

He could be the type that thinks he's arrived now that he was drafted and can live off his talent alone. Money changes people and especially young people. You cannot predict that before you draft them.
