Today is the Deadline to sign RFAs to an offer sheet, so there will be many signings today, and rather than making several threads id figured we could put them all here.

daringantt:

Panthers DT Tank Tyler signed his RFA tender yesterday. Figure more will follow today.

daringantt:

To clarify on RFAs, today's the deadline to sign offer sheets with other teams. They don't have to sign with the Panthers immediately.

Most of the Panthers RFAs who are well enough to participate signed injury protection letters and are working here. R.Marshall the exception

just so no one panics when ______________ _________________ doesn't sign their tender today....

if marshall doesn't sign his it only means that he isn't going to be signing with some other team. he could still sign the tender and get to work.

Thursday's deadline for restricted free agents to sign offer sheets with other teams passed quietly, with none of the Panthers' RFAs moving on.

In fact, only one RFA league-wide changed teams via an offer sheet this year, RB Mike Bell who went from New Orleans to Philadelphia.

For the most part, the deadline ends the drama about the RFAs, though some could skip minicamp and OTAs if they choose.

Of the RFAs well enough to participate, only CB Richard Marshall has skipped all the offseason workouts here. He received the second-round tender of $1.759 million.

QB Matt Moore had previously signed his tender, and DT Tank Tyler signed his Wednesday night. TE Jeff King will sign his Friday, and the agents for DT Louis Leonard and LB James Anderson said they would sign soon, likely next week.

LB Thomas Davis and CB C.J. Wilson are the other two RFAs who were tendered, but both have been around the stadium working out.

...and we signed nobody from another team, per normal. I could intentionally not read any offseason news until camp, find out who our draft picks were, and totally be in the know within minutes. I can't stay out of the loop for that long, but the point being Panthers' offseasons lately have amounted to the fun of watching paint dry on a damp winter's day.
