Richard Marshall signs tender *NOT*

if we trade him, I hope we trade him to someone like the packers. they need a future #1 CB, we need a #2 and possibly future #1 WR. I would trade him to the Packers for James Jones and a 4th/5th round pick. he was good his 1st year, slacked off his 2nd year, and started to pick it back up this year with around 500 rec. yards. not to bad for a #3 WR. it would make sense for both teams.

Only downside I see in Munnelyn is his height. Other than that I think the sky's the limit for him. Marshall hasn't peaked like we've expected him too.

Revis is only 5' 11" I mean thats not all that much more then 5' 8". Being a good CB has less to do with height and more to do with position of your body and quickness.

Neither Marshall or Munnerlynn are starting CB material.

Marshall is an ideal nickleback. He's tough on shorter routes and a great tackler. Isn't that great against big recievers. We drafted Sherod Martin to get a big body on the outside.

When injuries set in Martin went back to safety and now I don't know where he'll end up. This would be the question I would ask Hurney or Fox if they were taking calls. It's the kind of question only they could answer.

If we had replacement I'd be cool with trading him but we don't. He needs to stay for us to be competitive.

Not really true. See post above about height. Also in the Cover 2 you want Physical CBs that play good position.

Marshall is our WORST starter... I hate him with a passion... EVERY reception seems to be against Marshall...

If someone could find those stats they started to use last year that would talk about the pass completion rate against each CB... His would be one of the highest in the league....

He can tackle and has other skills, but he can't cover worth a damn...

I hear he is well liked in the Lockerroom though, and that can be a deciding factor if a team is unsure whether to keep or trade....

If we trade Marshall, we wouldnt get anything in the first couple rounds...

I would give him up for a 4th... in 2032.. i don't care. I would love to see him leave

None of this is even remotely true. Marshall is a solid #2 CB for us, and those stats you are referring to have actually shown that Gamble gives up more plays than Marshall IIRC.
