i hope we dont deal him now for something less than a 2nd. i dont think we can replace him this year with anything lower than that. hopefully he sticks around unless we get a decent 2nd.

maybe we get another 2nd and package that with ours to move up into the 1st to get a WR they are looking at?

We still have a our core.. and Marshall is not a significant piece to our team.. maybe the coaching staff has confidence in Munnerlynn.. and they feel they can replace Marshall with a 3rd rounder. Now if we traded someone like Beason, or Gamble, or even Smitty, then yea, I would agree with you. Trading a 2nd rate player does not mean we are rebuilding.

typically they will go for less than the advertised amount if traded after signing the tender, this is my only concern. our run D is already suspect and he is a good tackler.
