CJ Stroud

Dunno if last night was more of an abberation but if the Texans have that type of pass protection going forward, Stroud's either going to start seeing ghosts like Darnold or he's going to get a serious injury.

Side note: That TD catch from Wilson was utterly ridiculous.

Stroud looked bad last night to the point that I honestly think he was probably playing hurt. He was getting up mighty slow from some of those hits.

Just a typical Thursday night football game. Most of those games suck and weird things happen more often from injuries to good teams looking like poo, etc. The Jets are absolutely desperate too. They haven't quit. They suck but you better not overlook them because they know their back is against the wall. As long as they're mathematically alive you're probably in for a dog fight at least.

That 50 air yards pass  to Tank Dell on broken coverage was something we haven't seen from Bryce. He didn't have to wind up or hop or contort himself just to make it possible. He threw a thing of beauty while scrambling and it was money. In one of his worst games he did something we are still waiting to see.

I didn’t realize how bad the line regressed compared to last year looking at the details.

Teams caught up to their scheme and injuries have affected them

Yeah its really dumb. Stroud still wouldve looked 10 times better than Bryce last year and of course we would be in much better position this year.

Yep. Diontae probably would have extended here on the cheap to play with Stroud, and the sandbaggers on defense would be iron men right now

Exactly the type of thing he would have done here. The excuse people were stannin’ so hard claiming he would have looked just as bad. Just not true.

Panther fans who wanted bryce calling out Stroud supporters on Twitter are pathetic sad individuals. What's funny is this argument can easily be debunked. Stroud had one of the greatest rookie seasons ever, almost lightning in a bottle....so duplicating was always gonna be tough and yet he only has 2 games under 63% passing and the texans are off to a better start than last year with all those injuries and issues. So yeah forcing this argument to make a point in the comparison with Bryce is not the flex they think it is. Lol

    • LeBron not getting enough attention he had to announce to the world he's leaving social media for the time being lol   This man about to be 40. This is kid like behavior and I'm a fan of LeBron. Cmon bro do better.
    • Does anyone else see this as the beginning of the end of Freddie Andersen? It started as a day-to-day. Escalated to week-to-week: Brind'Amour announced that Andersen was considered week-to-week with the injury. He said, "That's a little more time than I was hoping, but hopefully we'll get an update every week". Next: Brind'Amour later said that Andersen's injury would be "way longer" than expected. Now: https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/toronto-maple-leafs/latest-news/report-former-maple-leafs-goaltender-frederik-andersen-shut-down-by-hurricanes-to-miss-roughly-8-weeks-following-knee-surgery According to TSN's Pierre LeBrun, Andersen is set to undergo surgery that will keep him out of the team's lineup for "roughly" eight weeks. Who here believes the Canes will roll with Kochetkov and Martin without making a move?
    • Meniscus maybe? I can't see it being ligaments or he would be done for the year.
