Dan Morgan is an awful GM

It's too early.

He fixed the OL which we have been waiting 20+ years for. We also found the best young WRs we have had in a long time. His draft this last year is shaping up to be our best one in 5+ seasons.

He needs another offseason minimum. If Fitterer can get 3 offseasons so should he.

We have the most expensive OL in all the NFL….

that’s how he fixed it.   It wasn’t savvy and good GMing.

Creating a thread for everyone to pile on the GM, since there are already plenty of them for the owner and this season's coach.

I, for one, was excited about the prospect of Morgan as the GM. I was wrong; he sucks and is doing nothing but contributing to decades-long failure, with only the faint hope of the franchise folding being the light at the end of the tunnel.

The timing of this post makes me think you are mad about today's trade.  I'm totally fine with today's trade.  My concern with him is he has no idea how to draft, which imo is the most important role of a gm.  You can have a cap guy to deal with contracts (as we do).  Just freaking draft good players.

I'm of the mind that he's better at drafting than he is at trading.

too early to tell.

Logically, it is.

Now that said, early returns aren't great.

For whatever you think of hIm, Fitterer had a plan. He articulated that plan on a regular basis.

Did he execute that plan successfully? No, but the plan itself at least made sense.

Perhaps I haven't listened enough, but if Morgan has articulated any sort of plan, I missed it.
