We really going to pay out a huge contract to a FA RB, after having just spent a 2nd rounder on one... and having one of the worst defenses of all time?

If Brooks was healthy Chuba would have been traded to the Cowboys for a conditional 7th round pick in 2068

That or Sanders. I don't think a value judgement made regarding the 2024 season necessarily locks anyone into 2025 and beyond.

I see too many holes still on offense and it worries me for the defense because you can see where the priorities lie.

I agree it may take a few seasons to fix the defense. But I still think we could go from bottom of the barrel to top 25 in one season. Not a gigantic improvement but with a good offense they could be an opportunistic defense. 
I believe QB and defense will be the focus this off-season.

I think Young is done here. They may play him the rest of the way but even that will depend on if Andy even wants to start again. I get the impression he would rather sit this season out if the choice was his to make. But Young will be shipped as soon as they have a better replacement.

I think it makes sense to trade Young in the offseason during the QB musical chairs, much like how we went after Darnold from the Jets.

They will trade him unless he has a miraculous turn around before the season is over. I put the odds of that at 1% as it stands right now.
