Mike Wallace

Antonio Brown

Martavis Bryant

JuJu

Claypool

Dionate

all looked like legit and showed enough to think they might be studs….but Mike Tomlin clearly can sniff it out and part right with them right before the bad comes

For keeping Ant brown under control for 7 or so years, Tomlin deserves HOF jacket on that alone without the 18 winning(dear God??)

Im no fan, but his resume is almost top 10.

My man really just dropped the bag. Couldn't cut the crap for 6 months so you could secure generational wealth for you and your family. What a shame.

That my thought as well, this is ultra sad. Imagine burning millions of American dollars cause your Ego is out of this world stacked with other personal problems.

Like you said" Brother, please please please don't screw this up, its just 8 months and if you play team ball, I promise you life changing money"

Dionte Johnson- "Fcuk dat shiit, Im the best WR in da world, people just DONT know!!"

I wasn't thinking 1st round comp, but I thought Morgan got 100% robbed on the trade. I didnt realize the level of cancer he was in his FA year.....of all the time to go off-script and tank your value, NFL dumbass of the year right there...

Dang shame cause at Carolina they feed him- he was open and caught the ball. I honestly thought he could have gotten a late 3rd (form a playoff team ala KC). But pitt was trying to trade him since the 2023 deadline, no one bit. Then Morgan tells the world he's cutting djak and Pitts offers a cancer....

Deal is he should be getting 20million per if not more, but he's got a few mental issues. rip life changing money....

I mean it was obvious after the game we traded him. He pointed fingers at his teammates after a tough game.

Locker room cancer confirmed.

In hindsight, x3.

We should have known when Tomlin wanted to get rid of him.

I'm a huge fan, Tomlin is the single most underrated coach in the nfl.  He rarely makes game breaking mistakes, always has the team prepared, and does an excellent job developing talent.  He is exactly what you want as a head football coach.  He had the steelers keep winning records with Kenny frigging pickett.  He hasn't won it all yet, but he will.  He reminds me alot of his predecessor in Coughlin and another historically incredible black headcoach in tony dungy.

Reminds me of the guys who just won't stop smoking pot.  I get it, pots great, but ya know...like you can smoke a lot more if you get life changing generational wealth...also it should be legal, but if it isn't...just don't do it for a few years, then you can literally hotbox the rest of your life.

Or Reid. Not the same amount of stops but consistently successful, questioned because of lack of "ultimate success" and then proven to be a winner at the highest level in the end.

Or John Harbaugh minus the ring.

You are right, he is vastly underrated and maybe the king of that cause I do think he's in the top 10 discussion. I still remember all those weirdos- "he just living off bill cowhers players" 18.......!.........18 seasons.......Get the fug outta here, 18 crazy NFL seasons in a tough ass division against ravens, Joe burrow,  Miles Garrett, Joe Thomes, AJ green, etc. All he does is keep winning with late draft picks in each rounds, unreal. He won with the corpse of big Ben rapistburger 2 years, sure he help right after, but he was not the same those last few years.

He's a freaking miracle worker, dam shame he gets no attention....... you can always nit pick about about SBs, again Steelers are in one hella tough division and you got to beat the pats in playoffs whom had the best coach and QB in NFL history. He just keeps winning....

Id agree on Harbaugh, Reid not so much.  IMO actually he's a better game management coach than reid, I think Reid is just a brilliant designer.  He's made every QB ever that played for him look elite, from mcnabb, to Vicks resurgence, and then from Alex Smith to Patrick Mahomes.  Reid is in that Mcvay, Shannahan area of head coaches to me.  He doesnt have to do as much developing in game decision making because he has such an elite offensive mind.  Tomlin is a well rounded mind, John Harbaugh is one, Pete Carrol was another, and frankly Bill Bellichik was in that vein.  He has this aura of offensive genius to him, but it was because Brady was thee actual GOAT.  Bellichik was a wizard of game prep, and that elevated those around him.  Regardless, Tomlin is an elite coach and after he wins his superbowl (he will eventually), he'll be in contention for a gold jacket one day.

    • I suppose I could take the same tact with you and say something like, "I know PF69 isn't a fan of our boy...," but the reality is Brent Burns isn't playing that well. The first breakaway MacKinnon had was totally not Burns. He was along the board and Martinook was spun down trying play him. Burns was pushed to the outside when Martinook went down, but no way was he going to catch Mac. He pinched up on the right board when Slavin was carrying the puck into the zone and nobody was back. Couple things there; either there was no communication or Burns simply assumed, as most of us probably would, that Slavin would successfully rim the puck around behind the goal. It didn't happen. Slavin was clear down by the dots and the puck was stopped behind the net by the Avs and a long stretch pass followed with a breakaway goal. Burns was waiting on Slavin's rim, but it never got there.  To answer your question, Burns is a -2 for the season, and -5 over the last 6. So, go ahead and roast him for that, and then look at the +3 from the previous 7 games. Keep in mind, he is a +2 for his entire career, so what we're seeing is not anything new, it's fairly consistent over a 1441 game career thus far. And also look at his TOI, which is at the lowest in his career, while his CF% and oZS% are both career highs. He may not be doing everything right, but most of it he's getting done. Oh yeah, Slavin is a -3 over the last 6 games, too, so there's that. You may think +/- is an important stat, but if you take a 3-3 record over the last 6 games, and 2 of those games were ass-kickings (6-3 and 6-0), everyone on the damn roster is going to be a -something except Necas, maybe.
    • The Golden Goose is us.  Baseball is in the process of doing this to fans by making everything a PAY to watch.  People viewing has drop in large numbers from the days o WTBS the Braves,  WOR the Mets,  WGN  Cubs,   and they wonder why the younger generation doesn't watch.  If college football become Pay to Watch,  the golden goose will disappear. IF cable, satellite, streaming services keep raising the rates to watch ( so they can pay ESPN , SEC Big10 networks etc,,  it'll too lose viewers.   We already have ala carte selections of what we watch.. hence we don't watch 7 home shopping networks.
