Anyone that's seen the videos of Morgan negotiating the Burns deal with the Giants staff shouldn't be surprised with this. His negotiating skills are laughably bad.

Morgan went from asking the giants for two 1st at senior bowl that downgraded to a 2nd and 5th. Morgan even tried begging the giants to add an additional 7th into the deal but the giants straight up told him no and Morgan caved...

The trade went down after the Giants was on record for saying that Burns was worth at least one 1st round pick

Watching Morgan outright beg them to add a damn SEVENTH rounder, while the Giants just laughed it off and told him no was the most embarrassing negotiation (if you can even call it that) that I've ever seen.

Holy sheet, I just saw that the Panthers also agreed to pay off almost all of DJ salary as well. The Ravens are only on the hook for 625k, Panthers end up paying over $17 million for him to end up playing for someone else. That was one of the few benefits of trading him away and you caved on that too?

What. The. Fug.

Bro I’m not surprised by anything this retard toilet bowl franchise does anymore. It’s almost like it’s willful at this point. There’s ineptitude then there’s intentional failure and if they aren’t doing this intentionally at this point, trading away high talent offensive players for peanuts, then they’re the dumbest franchise in the history of pro sports.

We don't have the cap space to be making big moves

It is unlikely to be big moves but a LOT of roster churn, I suspect.

But, big moves are possible because we have a lot of guys that can be cut, as well.

It will he interesting to see if they panic and start trying to save their skins(Canales/Morgan) or they remain patient and build slowly.

That may be true, but we sent a 6th. We couldn't even get a 5th outright? It's just the principle. A 5th is bad enough as far as I'm concerned. I thought we'd get a fourth, but whatever.

Yeah, it's a little disappointing but it just is what it is.

Might as well keep him for the season at that price.

That really wasn't an option. He went full locker room cancer mode and we really don't need that at the moment. Especially with some potentially impressionable young WR's here.

And the GM of the Giants was supposedly a friend of his, think what a ruthless GM would do to morgan

I have no idea where you are getting these numbers but they are not accurate.
