Hey, it's just football right?  You still have your health?

Nah, I completely understand fan disappointment - I'm here with you.  I really wanted to see Bryce come out and show us he can be the dude.  He's not, he's a backup (Thank you Panthers Playbook) QB.  That's fine for him, but terrible for us given what we invested in his pick.  That sucks.

David Tepper has overseen some of the worst lows in franchise history.  I don't think he wants to lose, he'll make more money if the Panthers win.  He's just a football dumb dumb.  Tepper needs to stick to doing community things and let his Football People do football stuff.

After trading off CMC, DJ Moore, tons of picks, etc, and dealing with the attrition of FA, retirements, and poor drafts by Scott Fitterer (and Dan Morgan...my man isn't off the hook); this team is full of practice squad players and a really good OL.

I don't think Evero is the right DC for us.  In the off season, we need to find a different DC.  Someone who runs a 4-3 preferably (though this is the NFL where base defense isn't played a lot).  I love listening to Evero - he sounds like a very good coach, but for whatever reasons, it' just not working.  Time to move on after this season.

Dave Canales wasn't ready to be a HC.  So I think we need to give him some time to figure it out.  That's PAINFUL AF as a fan.  But if we're going to build a team, you have to let him and Dan Morgan work together for more than an offseason.  Again, a combination of poor drafts and FAs have left us pretty hollowed out.  We have a very strong OL (that played poorly on Sunday).  Chubba is a dawg.  Coker is looking good, XL looks like a good young player.  There's some good youthful talent on the offense.  They just need a QB.

I love Dalton.  But he's past his prime.  He's not been the guy who can carry the team since his days in Cincinati.  He may want to move on, or he might want to stick around to back up the next QB here (because it's easy money and Charlotte is a nice place to live).

So, can it get worse?  Maybe?  I dunno.  Hopefully you all have your healthy, your families, friends, and other things to enjoy.  The Panthers won't be one this season, but maybe later.

It absolutely can get worse. They keep proving that over and over. Some solid steps in the right direction would be huge but that hasn't happened still.

yeah, I think decent odds are we are still falling...rock bottom still coming.

I think rock bottom will be this offseason.  Where we secure the #1 pick.....Sanders starts doing Sanders things and makes a lot of noise we can't escape.  About how a couple top 10 picks will not play in Carolina.  I 100% believe Sanders will pull a Manning family move and influence where his 2 boys don't go (not Shilo lol)...only Sanders will be loud.  Sanders has already called that move as coming.

I think that window will really sort of signal the bottom is basically here.

Whatever it takes to get to the bottom faster. It will never improve doing the crap we have since 2020. Even the things that could have worked elsewhere sinks here giving the situation.

Jets have more longstanding misery than us but if you asked me to trade situations I'd take the Jets over ours. Their roster is much closer to being competent than we are

Again we are the least talented team in the NFL

Bryce has received his share of criticism for his poor play. But have you guys seen Anthony Richardson quit on his team half way through a game? The guy literally decided not to go back in to the game because he "was tired." What a poor look on your reputation and leadership. The dude quit on his team.

I had an Indy fan come into the office last Friday before the game. He was talking about how inaccurate Richardson was as a passer. He felt that the only thing he's good at is throwing the ball deep. He didn't think he played long enough in college and hasn't learned how to read defenses. I think a lot of those Indy fans are starting to feel like he's going to end up as a bust. What he did on Sunday certainly won't inspire the confidence of his teamamtes.

ARod is clearly not what we thought he was...  that system and coaching in GB clearly had something to do with his, Favre, and now Love's success.  Yes, Rodgers had incredible physical tools, and yes he's pushing 40 and coming off an achilles, but from the poo I've seen him fug up this year, it has very little to do with age or injuries.

That offense has explosive weapons and the defense was already legit.  He just doesn't look good.

if you are Jets fan, you at least can believe the Jets could show up any given Sunday and beat anyone in the NFL.

The Jets presently don't have a talent issue.  They have a coaching/player issue.

I think age and his achillies has really taken him down a notch in terms of his moblity/movement.  Which was always an understated part of his game to setup a lot of what he does in the pass game.  Noticeable enough his opponents even are now commenting on it.

I could still see them making a late push once Adams gets settled in.

Not a good look for AR, however, at least for the Colts he was not nearly as 'costly' as Bryce was for the Panthers.  AR only cost them 1 high draft pick.  I try to forget how my draft picks the Panthers spent on Bryce....and we are still paying with a very high 2nd round pick in 2025.

Yeah, he definitely isn't as mobile and elusive.  But to me, his decision making has looked really underwhelming compared to the past...  but that could all stem from his inability to move how he's used to and then he's frustrated and overcompensating.
