I have a very odd feeling we are about to trade Jaycee.

This is the healthiest he has been in a while, he is playing well. I would prefer to keep him if he can stay like this but something tells me Morgan is about to ship him away while his value is high and he is healthy.

That would not be smart. This team needs to keep as much young talent as they can. The holes are already too much to overcome in the short term.

What did you want JC to do, sucker punch Payton after the game?

Suspension would happen, but if sucker punch were to happen I'd rather someone like Ian Thomas do so because he wouldn't be missed on the team.

But what I was referring to was for the defense to play better to stop opposing offenses, rather than just being offended by what the other team is doing.

lol I mean I don’t blame him…Tepper’s Panthers are a perfect opportunity to try out some wonky plays and get some good practice should they really be warranted. I fully support it. If it was us dominating and doing it I’d be delighted.

How about stop being a pathetic team?

He might not have gone there if he didn’t know Payton. This isn’t any kind of big deal afaic.
Payton is an ass, Horn took the bait, okay. It is over.

He did it because he is an ass, and isn’t scared of them turning it around on him. Poking them.
And I’m sure they will use that to motivate themselves because disrespect should motivate them.

Good point!

    • If he tries to do that I have a feeling the league is gonna tell him to butt out.
    • I think you are at a major advantage if you have the ability to run the football as a quarterback. It can mask a lot of issues. Much like RG3, or Anthony Richardson, immediate impact is a lot easier with a running QB. Anthony Richardson already appears to be a bust, despite him turning some heads early last year. Vince Young was a ROY. I do think Jayden is a lot better than a lot of those guys, but I think he's got a fair amount of development to do as well.  Stroud looks a lot better than Bryce, I won't dispute that, but he's taken a very big step back this year off of last year. Houston has a myriad of issues on the offensive side of the ball.  This is just a trend we seem to be seeing everywhere. Very few QB's are pro ready anymore, and just when we are ready to give up on a guy, he does the thing where he becomes competent, (not necessarily good). Sam Bradford, Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, Geno Smith, Jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota, and so on and so forth. The list of evidence is enormous. But to your point, the highest miss rate of any position in football is quarterback. The vast majority of them do not pan out. More than likely, that is the case here.
