This is the worst Panthers team of all time

Feel bad for the coach as Dave Canale seems to be a very likable man but likable will sadly not win you ball games!

You feel bad for a grifter that finally got his own big bag from Tepper? The whole deal as a grifter is to convince people of opinions like this lol. If he hadn't lucked into meeting Pete Carrol he would literally be a peloton instructor somewhere in California

lol this team isn't as bad as last year's team.

It's just that the defense is so bad.

It they had been able to stay healthy on offense and get some continuity built it would have shown better but it is really not a bad bunch to stick a capable QB behind.

The price was trashing the defense. Or finishing the trashing because they have been neglected for two years.

2001 and 2010 were really tough to watch. But I could at least watch them. The last Panthers game I have watched from start to finish was the Packers game last year. They are unwatchable. I don't have the appetite and the fortitude to endure even watching a game for this team.

This is the worst. Last year maybe was even worse overall, but we lost so many this season it just is hard to compare.  Losing Derrick Brown was such a killer. They had pinned most hopes on him being able to anchor a lesser group.

Agree. I thought going into the season that this edition would be a little better than last year's team. Not much, but I didn't think the record would reflect that improvement. The players that suit up now and hit the field are collectively the worst Panther team though.

The only silver lining is we are becoming a galvanized fan base now.  True suffering, true misery….hopeless, helpless, people don’t even laugh at us anymore, they just pity us.

The next time a Cam Newton walks through the door half of us won’t be taking it for granted and shitting on the guy for not being perfect.  Now we all know how good we really had it.

    • I find it more like now that I have been forced to watch Young so much it isn’t as much of a shock to my senses.   Desensitized they call it.   For real, it just looks normal almost now. Where the first game of 2023 I wasn’t sure what I was looking at it was so out of bounds for NFL type play. I literally couldn’t make sense of what I had seen vs Atlanta that first week.
    • Lynch in SF. Great is subjective but he has done pretty well there.
    • Sure, except Stroud has the ability to stretch the field with deep passes. He did that often last night with ease, but couldn’t connect on many due to being flustered by the defense. BY9 gets flustered and can’t throw screens, let alone even think about any deeper passes. Stroud would’ve changed the franchise and done more with the situation last year. My thought at least.    the hope is that last year showed tepper that he needed to step back from football decisions. There’s a positive in most situations and maybe we’ll see a new tepper in the near future.
