Maybe, but the defenders all headed to the ball.  They should have knocked the ball down, that is HM 101-A.

in the sea of players, i bet they tried but its just a mass of hands. they all try but you know that commies wanted to keep the ball in the air. so thats a cluster of how the ball bounces

the error was not having 1 safety valve for a bounce up and towards the endzone. cause brown was 4 yards from the mass of players and had an easy catch.
