Dalton has averaged 150 yards with 1.6 INTS the last 3 weeks

so I’ll go with 130 yards and 2 INTs for Bryce.

At some point yall will understand the situation is bad and the dysfunction of this franchise broke what could have been a good young QB. No QB has had any success here in a long time. We’re the modern Browns.

It's equal parts Bryce being bad and us being a terrible spot for any young QB.

I generally think Stroud would not be as hyped had he started here. Perhaps this season that would have changed but I do believe even he would have limited success in 2023 here.

Dominique Foxworth likes to say that players don’t bust, organizations do. I think that definitely applies here.

Stroud would have still looked like he belonged on the NFL field and his potential would have been evident even if he couldn’t do much behind that terrible offensive line last year

Yeah right. He’s a midget with a weak arm. Some players just don’t translate to the NFL and he’s one of them.

There can be multiple things true at one time.

The Panthers can be an awful organization ran by the Tepper's. And Bryce Young can always have been doomed as a starting QB in this league regardless of destination. The biggest thing about Bryce aside from everything he lacks on the field is he has absolutely no fire in his belly or a chip on his shoulder. That will get you a bust at #1 overall regardless of extenuating circumstances.

There have been multiple people over the years talk about long term franchise dysfunction being ownership driven. Tepper and the Bobnets gave us perfect examples of this in our backyard. No need to even search out examples.

I do think generally Bryce will just end up proving this was just a bridge too far in his football career. He just isn't physically skilled enough to make it in the NFL.

Which, in hindsight perhaps the line was not as terrible as our organization was in shambles and could not do poo with what meager resources we did have. Interesting how Moton and Ikey both look tremendously better this year.

I agree, Stroud would have popped far more often but I don't know that I would expect to see much difference in overall team results.

In this alternate reality, I think this year would have been when Stroud was blowing the doors off people and making a national media splash.

In some cases, sure. In all cases? Not a chance. Bryce in Carolina? Definitely his shortcomings as a large issue alongside the team's suckitude.
