Sir these WR's are going to whoever pays them the most money.

This willl be Tee Higgins first big contract. He's signing with whoever offers him the most money. If that teams happens to be us you better believe he's signing here no matter how bad we are.

Even Hopkins who was near the end of his career chose a team like the Titans who were not contenders at the time. These guys just wanna get paid.

The dude has 300 yards and 3 TDs playing next to Chase.... I don't get the hype of wanting him as a #1 WR.

Someone is going to overpay him IMO

I understand, but we aren't in a position to pass on good skill players.

He's the best available in FA.

Not bad considering he missed 2 games with an injury.

The idea that he’s a JAG that only benefits from Chase is strange to me, He almost had 1k yards his rookie year with Burrow only playing 10 games the year before Chase was drafted. And Chase benefits from him too, the 2 games without Higgins this year, Chase averaged 48 yards and scored no TDs, with Higgins back it’s 105 yards a game and 6 TDS in 5 games. He’s only 25, would easily be a #1 WR here and on half the other teams in the league.

Considering how shitty we have been with drafting WRs, I’m not against overpaying someone who’s proven and is in their prime. Certainly would rather have him that Diontae Johnson.

Chase doesn’t even get doubled that much anymore. Higgins is a legit WR. A little big of an injury history though…

The injuries would be the one concern I’d have, but not the idea that he would be Alvin Harper 2.0

All depends on the contract.

But some folks here are kinda talking out of the side of their neck and shifting standards. Because if just barely a month ago it was okay to overpay Diontae Johnson who has shown himself to be the opposite of a leader with now two different teams the first of which looks just fine without him then there's no reason we can't at least kick the tires on Higgins in the offseason.

    • Okay, that day in Vegas had to embarrass him completely. Andy showed him how to do the job.  What I think when I go there, why did it take Andy? He has had game after game of watching actual NFL QBs work and that didn't do it?  Anyhow Andy did not mess around, he stood in there and did his job and got rid of the ball ahead of the pressure. Down the field. With the same players Bryce had. Night and day.  If that didn't wake him up nothing ever would. But I don't think he has any sort of top NFL QB in him, he just lacks the full tool kit.
    • Team is dangerous right now, all four lines are contributing and the speed at which the guys play at is tremendous.
    • And every nfl player wannabe tries to up their draft position through things like the combine and theyre all basically lying though those drills theyve practiced hundreds of times that have little bearing on if theyre a good football player. The pro days are even worse. All you have to do is dupe 1 team. Is it right? No. But until teams put more emphasis on college tape vs. What they did in shorts with no defense it'll happen every year. I doubt there is a single player that wouldn't try anything to up their draft prospects.  Young had years of tape and that shouldve been what the decision was based on. Not a scale and throwing in shorts.  ( btw I think the combine and pro days are 90% a waste of time) Young has it financially made already. It's up to him if he wants to be a good football player too. I think the benching was the best thing that could've happened to him. It remains to be seen if it was enough
