Last time the Hornets had 2 superstar caliber players on the same team was in the 90's with LJ and Zo.

Safe to say if Melo can stay healthy we should be a fun and exciting team for the next 10 years with Melo/Miller. These dudes are both rare talents.

I could see how he's effective in the locker room but guys also like playing for him.  I thought Borrego was thrown out a little too soon, especially just for Clifford to return, but I bet the locker room is so much happier playing for this kinda guy. Time will tell if he can actually nail rotations and in game scenarios with the game on the line but at the least he seems genuine and sensitive to his players

Looking good so far. What I love to see is they have a lot of fight in them. Guys are playing hard for each other and their new head coach. LaMelo is definitely stepping up. Even Nick Richard's showed some grit out there. Tre Mann has been a great addition. It's very nice to have a local team worth watching.

Having new owners with a vision also makes a huge difference. Just read this article and compare the quotes and plans these guys have to Tepper and it’s obvious why one franchise is trending up and the other one keeps finding new lows.

    • LeBron not getting enough attention he had to announce to the world he's leaving social media for the time being lol   This man about to be 40. This is kid like behavior and I'm a fan of LeBron. Cmon bro do better.
    • Does anyone else see this as the beginning of the end of Freddie Andersen? It started as a day-to-day. Escalated to week-to-week: Brind'Amour announced that Andersen was considered week-to-week with the injury. He said, "That's a little more time than I was hoping, but hopefully we'll get an update every week". Next: Brind'Amour later said that Andersen's injury would be "way longer" than expected. Now: https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/toronto-maple-leafs/latest-news/report-former-maple-leafs-goaltender-frederik-andersen-shut-down-by-hurricanes-to-miss-roughly-8-weeks-following-knee-surgery According to TSN's Pierre LeBrun, Andersen is set to undergo surgery that will keep him out of the team's lineup for "roughly" eight weeks. Who here believes the Canes will roll with Kochetkov and Martin without making a move?
    • Meniscus maybe? I can't see it being ligaments or he would be done for the year.
