No, we don't need to see Bryce Young again

We've seen him in 18 games now. He has not magically learned to be better in 5 games on the bench.

As a reminder, here's his stat line for the last nine full games he's started:

148/264 (56.1%), 1439 yards (160 yards per game), 2 touchdowns, 5 interceptions, 32 sacks

This is over NINE games. We lost these games by an average score of 10-24.

In his career, Bryce Young has 11 touchdown passes. 5 of those came from two games (Detroit and Green Bay). Two of those Detroit ones were in garbage time.

The problem with Bryce Young is not that his confidence is shaken or that he just needs time to learn. The problem is he is physically not capable of playing professional football in this league. Everyone on the team knows it.

Well when he fails for the rest of the season that leaves us no choice but to move on.

Dalton isn't the answer either. Play Bryce and let him determine his future.

His future was already determined by his last 18 starts

This is the only right answer. Everyone else is just in their feelings.

What exactly are you hoping to see?

Xavier Legette plainly told you after Bryce was benched what he was looking forward to. The deep ball. It doesn't exist with Bryce Young. He came into the game against the Commanders down 33 points with absolutely nothing to lose in that game or his NFL career to this point and tossed a pass behind the line of scrimmage and went back to the sideline. That's your first overall pick.

He isnt being played prior to trade deadline to not risk injury and to not remind other teams who is

If they get a 4th and/or taking  over   some portion of his salary, move him

It is clear as day, either the coach and/or owner and GM has zero faith in him

He is persona non grata to the coach

It's sad they just want the guy to sit on the roster.

Play him we all know he's gonna fail, but at least we are making him earn his money. It does us no good for him to just sit on the roster.

Or just trade him and move on.

Im looking forward to him failing and earning his paycheck.

Are you scared he will play well or something? The season is over just play Bryce and let him lead us to the #1 pick so we can move on.

What's the issue? I prefer we trade him, but it seems like we are not interested in that at the moment.

    • Wilks wouldn't have had Luvu and Chinn run away like they did with Evero. The 34 no pressure defense wouldn't be here. The score wouldn't be 0-30 at the half. Wilks knows how to call a defensive game and prepare a team even with scrubs like he had in Arizona/Rosen 2018, Cleveland 2019/Mayfield and Carolina/Walker 2022. Wilks did out coach Ejiro Evero, Dave Canales, Dan Campbell, Dennis Allen, Todd Bowles, Arthur Smith, Mike Tomlin, Ron Rivera, Mike McCarthy, Dan Quinn, Matt LaFleur, Nick Sirianni, Johnathon Gannon, Pete Carroll, Shane Waldron, Brian Daboll, and Doug Pederson in 2022 and 2023. How many SB winning HCs or coordinators is that? Wilks has also been competitive against the last 2 SB winning HCs. Remind me of Evero's success in coaching the past 3 seasons as a DC? Thumped by Andy Reid and Sean McVay. Handled Arthur Smith and Pederson? I'd go for a Canales and Wilks combo, but the Teppers may have burned that bridge. Wilks is still in Charlotte and I have no doubt he could walk in and improve the defense if they fired Evero tonight.
    • We might have to give him a call 😄😄
    • The fact that this actually sounds like a breath of fresh air is quite sobering.
