Defense: I expect them to be little more than a speed bump, and that’s fine.  Doesn’t bother me. Get the young guys some experience.  See if somebody makes a play or two. Try not to give up 50.

Offense:  Run the ball, work play action, take some shots downfield.  Clean up the penalties and protect the ball.  I’d like to see some creativity from Coach as well as some development on his part.  
 

Theme of the day: Growth.

My son and I are heading out to Northwest Stadium in just a few. He’s 13 and has never been to a Panthers game (thanks to our many duty stations in the western U.S. and Asia). Thankfully, we are stationed in the National Capital Region now and can get to this one.

Neither of us are expecting a win, but I’m excited to share this memory with him.
