MLB in Durham?

Mods, not sure what sub this should be under. Anyways, possible Tampa Bay Rays playing in Durham due to Milton taking off the roof of their stadium.

The stadium was the MLB equivalent of Fedex field. It was a piece of poo but they are moving to a new one in 2028

It’s either App, NC State, or Clemson west of Hickory.

Those are ghost towns. Sadly Western NC is not that important in the sports world.

 

Im still trying to figure out why Charlotte isn't a factor in college sports. The biggest city in the Carolina's can't get athletes?

It’s a fairly new program.  College football came to Charlotte only like 9 years or so ago.
