To be reassigned to Chicago. No word on who, if anyone, is being called up. Right now the Canes have 21 of 23 active roster spots filled.

I heard on the radio it was to have an extra dman on the trip.

Technically we have 3 spots open. Stillman is listed on the Canes website but he’s technically on the injured non roster list.

Both Lemieux and Ryan are now in Chicago which leaves the Canes with 20 players (no extras).

Our projected deadline cap space is now $6.6M which is more than enough to get a top six guy with some term if we want.

I doubt we’ll go for a rental but with a bunch of cap space being freed up next year the Canes can acquire someone with term at the deadline and fit him into next years team as well.
