He doesn’t need “development” as much as he needs his sack to drop and start slinging it downfield. I’m fine with him playing the second half if Dalton is struggling. Or even some designed runs or rpos to switch it up that Dalton can’t do

Do we HAVE to go through explaining all the same reason he can't make those accurate downfield throws, AGAIN?

I guess so. Damn.

He overthrows people because he uses all he has to get it downfield. There is a video with Carr and Mahomes, yes mr football Mahomes, throwing fastballs for a radar gun. When they stay in control like, 85 to 90% effort they have that accuracy but as soon as they go full out the ball is high.

Exactly what he does with regularity.

Which has people saying hey! he can go deep look he is overthrowing people downfield!

It is ridiculous. If he would sack up he MIGHT be able to run some roll out college 12 to 15 yard at a clip gimmick offense.

He’s not gone do that. Bryce knows if he starts slinging it, them ints will rack up and he’ll be out of the league so fast. Bryce knows his limitations. He’s a smart guy.

Also, if he starts slinging it, it’ll be a FS’s dream day. He’s going to throw ints in the same area. It’s either that, or a pick 6 on the out route

You know it. It'll be fetal position time by halftime and he'll be sitting on that bench all by himself.

That’s fine. He already is almost out of the league, so he needs to have that DGAF attitude and see what happens. Most likely nothing special, but that’s the last resort

He missed the downfield throws because he was trying too hard. Now that he knows he’s *this* close to playing for The Rock, let’s see some Brett Favre dgaf

All he can do is make us NGAF. Again.

Yeah they do. You don't bench your #1 overall pick two games into his second season unless you've already made up your mind.

We said he wasn't available for trade.

If this report is true he's about to be our starting QB again.

Panthers are telling you how they feel about Bryce. This franchise is stupid. Wake up people.

I mean if the Panthers are 1-9/2-8 going into the bye week than there's really no reason not to - see if the break did Young any good and if not, can be clear eyed in knowing you gave an honest evaluation before deciding to move on. Only downside is if he's just as a bad that may torpedo any potential trade value from a team that thinks the situation was the problem rather than the player.
