These dudes have gone for 3rd round picks. You guys better hang up the idea of getting anything over that for DJ in a trade. I honestly doubt he'd get more than a 4th at most and I would still trade him for that.

It is a conditional 3rd that could be a 2nd (doubtful but not impossible).

Broski, he had smitty, sure late stage prime smitty, but still. They couldnt get along cause CAm was too busy playing the role and smitty wanted playoff wins.

Cam also had Greg olsen, who was a top TE for years.

Everyone always acts like Cam and nothing else, which is fake news. He had a top tier Defense, 2 stud RBs, olsen, best IOL, and smitty. The GM used draft picks as well to aid him. He had more than enough, god dam shame he and luke couldnt win back-2-back seasons.

If you look at Cam's youtube video on Bryce Young's benching and failure, he will enumerate every asset he was given over Bryce, himself. Horse's mouth. And it wasn't nothing.

But he acts like Bryce was not given anything and that is not true - as shown in his 2024 "I am not an NFL QB" promo clip.

Remember we had our own Josh Allen in Cam Newton and we could never get him a true #1 WR.

Ginn was the best we could do. It hurts we should have a championship in the Cam Newton era. We really let that man put the team on his back for multiple years and it cut his career short.

Shouldve had 2

For the twitter people on here, if you followed free agency I’m sure you stumbled across “pretyrickey”. He claimed he had sources and leaked quite a few signings and trades…he also missed a couple. Anyway, he’s now reporting Dionte will be a chief. So there’s that.

You acting like he had enough is delusional at best. Its actually quite laughable.

He has to be an All Pro or the Jets have to make the AFC Championship.  I think doubtful is giving it a little too much of a chance.  It’s one grain removed from impossible.  Technically not impossible but effectively so.

Chiefs miss out on 2 of their top targets. Get on the phone to send them Diontae please

How are you sure he wont resign with us in the offseason? Nobody is going to give us his worth so I say take a gamble and see if we can get him to resign with us for something that doesn't set WR records for money.

    • I would only consider trading Adam Thielen and Miles Sanders at this point. I like Thielen but this is so the young WR's can have the most opportunity for development since we are using a QB capable of throwing the ball more than 5 yards and they now have a shot at development.  Plus it gives Thielen a chance to go to a team who may be chasing a ring if that's what he wants. I would trade Sanders also but nobody wants him or that contract and he holds no value to anyone I have a feeling. He isn't doing us any good and I feel as if any other young back from any teams practice squad could match that production easily. I still would not rush Brooks along and would give that knee all the time it needs especially for a RB who will be making many cuts in live game situations. No reason to rush him along and at this point I'm okay with pretending we can't have him this season and just making sure that knee is completely well to 100%. If game action this year then very light carries and a major backup role for him to mainly just watch. Either way we don't need sanders but nobody is offering us a thing for him due to how he has looked since in Carolina and that contract of his so it is just wishful thinking on my behalf
    • Ideally take a big trade down like the Bears got from us. This teams needs 10+ starters lol need a huge infusion of talent to turn things around. Unless you're fully convinced the guy sitting there is the next Tom Brady gonna look to trade and go BPA the whole way and just stack the roster with as much talent as I can.
