Peter King believes Carolina is "by far" the best destination for Campbell

Well, he's right. Out of all the interested teams, Carolina -- with its great run game, offensive line and Steve Smith -- is certainly the best option.

Now, that doesn't mean Jason Campbell is a good fit for the Panthers. King also acknowledged that it seems more likely he goes to the Bills.

I think that was Rotoworld's comment.

Both Yasinskas and Chandler have written that the Panthers have shown no signs of interest.

Didn't the skins have a pretty good oline, a playmaker at receiver, and a pretty strong running game when they drafted and in the years following where campbell was drafted? Just sayin'...

Well not last year. Their O-line was absolutely terrible (which didn't help their running game), and their receivers were just ok. Though they were limited to running short routes due to their o-line. Ironically it was his best year.

but I'm all in for Campbell joining our team, whether he's the backup or the starter. Forget Bulger. He is terrible.

I know I will be in the minority.. But Jason Campbell is a great fit for us...

Unforunately I live in Redskin country so I have to watch a lot of Redskin games. I have a good feel for his ability...

This Skins team problems begin on the OL. NOT CAMPBELL. In fact, Campbell has done nothing but improve every year. He has endured many coaching changes and philosphy changes. Still he improves, with what is a very medicore WR group.

In the last 2 years Campbell has been sacked 81 times! This just shows how bad his OL really is. Yet he continues to improve. He completed 64.5% of his passes this year, for 3,600 yards... all career highs...

Give Campbell the time to throw and hell be better than most QB's. Strong arm than can make all the throws. Whoever gets him will be surprised by his ability..

I would absolutely love for Carolina to make a move for him.... Although that is doubtful from all that I have heard...

    • I call bullshit. Brady,Manning,Brees and Burrow are all just ball distributors. And the better thier supporting cast and more experience they got the better they got. Thier best attributes were between the ears.  Now I'm not saying Bryce is gonna turn into one of them but what I want is for him. Is to have a solid roster around him and some coaching continuity too see if he takes the next step. Because everything I've seen and read after the benching is that his mental toughness and workethic are what we need in a QB
    • Many criticize our picks in 2024. I believe that most of them were picked because their ceiling is better than those selected before them.  XLs needs to learn how to play in the NFL. Once he gets up to speed he'll be worthy of 32nd pick.  Brooks, showed why we took him in the few games he played. The ACL injury really sucks but he can overcome these setbacks. Remember TD had 3 ACLs and eventually will be in the ring of honor one day.  Wallace will be a solid LB going forward with experience  Sanders, TE is a tough position to play. He a getting valuable playing time and will become a good TE.  Going down the remaining draft pics all seem to have a good upside. They may not be showing much now but they will start showing their worth next season.
    • I think he's shown enough that if a QB fell to us at our pick we'd either draft a defensive player or trade down for more picks.
