Are the few Panthers fans going to see this garbage team having any fun at these games?

Anyone here going to home games anymore? Are they even fun? I have a friend who went to the Chargers game and he said it was fun for like the first 5 minutes and the opposing fans made it pretty unbearable.

I haven’t been to a game since 2019 so I really wouldn’t know but it seems very miserable at the games. I have had tickets to games since then that I’ve sold (all of them losses) and don’t intend to go to a game ever again at this rate.

Didn't look like many went today. I don't see that improving the rest of the year.

It's just bad football on almost every level. Might be something fun to do with your kids if you live in the area and can get the tickets for $15.

I just got back and we had a blast.  Stadium was probably 40% falcon fans but everyone was in a good mood and stayed until Ian Thomas refused to try to do anything which basically ended the game.

Side note, I went to get food and drinks multiple times and every time concession employees trashed Tepper openly to fans.  Said he does not pay them a living wage and is a complete asshole.  Not sure working a concession once per week should be a considered a living wage but in my 25 years following the panthers I do not recall employees openly bash their boss to fans.

This is gonna throw a wrench in this thread.

I have been to this game and cincy game and it’s all about what you were saying on the field versus with the final this year is a wash and you’re looking for players to develop so far those players are starting to show some promise as opposed to previous years. Don’t worry about final score just in range of a good game it was.

Honestly, for me, it's about seeing some friends that otherwise I wouldn't see.  Also, my season ticket price hasn't changed in like 5 years. I try to visit concessions that are volunteer operated.  Lots of parents and kids give time and energy to support the kids or whatever..

Honestly, I've only ever been to one game (2005 week 1 vs. Saints) and it was such a miserable experience between the heat, the stairs, the insane food/drink prices and the uncomfortable ass seats that I have no interest in ever going to another game in-person again.

I went probably 3-4 times in the 90s. I went a few times in 02. But I had PSLs from 04-19ish. I got rid of them big because we moved further away not because the team was doing bad. The uncomfortable experience and all is worth it when they are winning, it’s miserable when they are losing.

I think I’ve been to 2 since then, Jets in 2021 and Lions in 2022 (cold af) but even when they win the experience isn’t as fun now as it was then.

    • Please don't I can't take it 🙁
    • I expected the offense to be strong enough to make Bryce dangerous to us by showing enough to start offering some people false hope - and we'd be stuck with him coming back. I was scared of that because I never had any faith in him and wanted clear cut proof so we could move forward - likely without him. Lose and take a new QB, is basically what I was rooting for, I guess.  I thought we'd be able to contain teams better by stopping the run more effectively. I thought it would take a few weeks for everything to reveal because new coach new players new system.  I didn't see the devastating injury wave taking us out by week 5. And I didn't see Brooks sitting being useless after 6 games had gone by.  At the same time I knew this wasn't a one year fix and expected more realism from fans in that regard. They had loaded up the offense and watered down the defense and I did not like that. I resented all the investment in Bryce's training wheels at the expense of team balance.   It's a tough space, I was bitching about the lack of investment in the D all season, while at the same time loving the OL. Thinking they spent too much on the guards... thinking Icky should have been moved inside, and spend that on replacing him at LOT. But overall still coming back to it was never going to be a one year fix and knowing the defense was going to be short. Not THIS short.  But the season was to be all about Young showing what he is, I expected that to be a longer process but am not unhappy that it played out quickly - if they will just leave him where he belongs which is off the field I'll consider it mission accomplished.
    • Yep and as bryce is abysmal, you  wont see  them otherwise  andy made a mistake today but was nit the problem  the happiest player in the league is Young, 9 million a year to do nothing  he looked very content in the sideline we already know what young  is…and hus ceiling as does the rest of the league.
