Brandon Marshall gets $24 million guaranteed

Parcells believes in his persona so much that he truly feels like he can keep Marshall out of trouble.

The problem with that notion is that Parcells thought he could keep TO under control too.

He's an egomaniac and control freak who believes he can bend anyone he comes into contact with to his will.

His psychotic delusions don't change the fact that Marshall's a huge risk, and we don't have the money to sign him long-term and keep our up-and-comers; who DON'T beat their wives, drive over homeless people, or sniff coke off of a dead hooker, at the same time.

who has been successful in the NFL and who hasn't? thanks...

but as for your only valid point, oh wait.. didn't Jerry Jones push for T.O. to come to town against Parcell;s wishes? I'm pretty sure your only valid point... was lost in translation some where.. try again.

lol, look, I have no issue with you, but if you want to go on some Marshall crusade, go for it.. I've pointed out plenty of times why things look on the up and up for Marshall. Apparently, that "egomaniac and control freak who believes he can bend anyone he comes into contact with to his will" feels the same..

Aren't we currently supporting a player who has on more than one occasion beat up his team mates? but we'll ignore that and harp on Marshall..

dead hookers are great to snort coke off of.. if you didn't know..

any true #1 is going to cost.. he's on the lighter end of the spectrum.. Dolphins did good.

all good franchises take a chance from time to time.. those too scared to pull the trigger every now and then are the teams looking for new coaches..

I am happy we didn't fork over that kind of cash. definatly not worth it. All these teams going crazy this offseason are going to be seriously hurting when the cap is reinstated.

Also, all these people freaking out over us not resigning our young core talent..... We will once the NFL gets its poo together with the players union and what not. Have a little faith people. The panthers are a great organization.

    • I don't really like the phrase, "moral victory". I get what's meant by it, but does that mean that if you do the opposite (play poorly but win) it's an immoral victory? 🤔
    • I blame Evero because he is overrated. Vance Joseph created the defense in Denver that he took credit for. Wilks ran the ball down his throat and Darnold had a 103.8 rtg.  Last year we were decent in yards allowed, and horrible in everything else. Only reason? We kept giving up good field position.  He's had his choice of players to bring in since his scheme is so "complicated." Maybe he should stop trying to be so fancy like running Cover 4 on 3rd and 1 earlier and focus on fundamentals like tackling. These years of Eric Washington, Phil Snow, and Evero must have gotten you confused on what a real defense looked like. Go back and watch the McDermott and Wilks years- this dude is sofT.
    • I tried to make it a point in the opening post that I don't think the offense is a finished product. I think we still need more talent at WR, better play calling, catch more consistently, elimate ridiculous penalties,  and be more consistency in scoring points. I'm just saying, they look markedly better than last year imo. They have scored 20 or more in 6 games and 30 or more in 2 games. And that's particularly notable considering they only mustered 10 points and 3 points in first 2 games of this year and they got blanked on 0 points two games in a row to wrap up last season . I'd say that's a market improvement.  I'm not crowning them and saying we have a top 10 offense or anything.  I'm comparing them to themselves in recent history.
