Panthers could finish with the worst defense in the history of the NFL

We hired an offensive head coach and proceeded to gut the defense in order to build up the offense around the smallest QB in the league.

Sorry if isn't fair but Dave Canales has to figure something out. He took the job.

I'd be more upset if we didn't gut the defensive side of the ball this offseason only for all the second tier starters we had to begin with all get hurt so now we're on 3rd and 4th string players.

You can't make chicken salad out of chicken poo, and this roster right now is premium bird droppings.

If you chop off your feet then try to run a marathon you have no one to blame when you fall on your face.

It’s not surprising. Fitterer in 3 years traded away so much talent (DJ and CMC, basically Burns) and draft picks (2 firsts, 3 2nds and a score of thirds and fourths). We lost so much talent that there was no way to fix both and we didn’t even have the cap space to sign the guards without trading Burns first.

Replace Evero now like Wilks & Holcomb replaced Snow's problem coaching and see immediate improvement with this roster.

Is there a capable DC on the staff? Maybe Cooley? Look at the defensive coaching staff Tepper forced on Canales. I'm not sure how involved Capers is with play calling and game planning now.
