Settled at left tackle or still better suited to play guard?

Probably needs to try playing guard, but it's inconvenient with the moves we've made in the offseason.  We have a log jam at guard and nobody to play tackle or center.

He seems to be playing much better at left tackle this season. Keep him at tackle considering the money we plowed into the guard position in free agency. Hunt and Lewis are studs.

This. Guard is settled with two huge investments.

Sometimes with guys with position versatility it's more about team need given the roster makeup and positional value than it is where they would be maximally best suited. I mean, Jordan Gross was a very good LT but he would've probably been a HOF RT. It's just that we needed a LT and a very good LT is still more valuable than a HOF RT.

Leave him where he is. His issues are due to inconsistent guard play beside him and bad qb play behind him.

I feel like he’s been doing pretty well overall. I think he’ll still continue to grow.

He's doing better when we run the ball more. He looked much better under Wilkes his rookie year because we were running the ball and he was getting leverage on the play action. He looked terrible last year because we were dropping back out of the gun 35 times per game and he's not built for that.

He's a solid guard in a pass heavy/spread scheme, and a solid tackle in a running/play action team.

Better but I doubt he will be a HofFer. As long as the QB doesn't drop back out of protection or hold the ball forever he should fine. Probably make a good LG but they already committed that space and cap.

Icky been solid this year i been watching closely because of last year . Outside of the first game i can’t complain .
