Anybody else disgusted with Richardson?

Hoover. Fiammetta was replaced by Sutton until Hoover was back.

Unless we resign Hollis Thomas, Kemo hasn't been replaced.

Add Lewis to the list. Tyler his replacement? Fiz loved the Tyler pick! Maybe the 6 or 7 tackles he had before going on IR changed his mind.

tyler was traded for.

That specific comment was in response to the loads of people who went absolutely insane with glee when they acquired him, and before he apparently turned himself around and started earning praise from the coaching staff.

the player the Panthers drafted was Corvey Irvin from Georgia.

As far as Damione, it was pretty clear last year that this best years were behind him, and even if you've managed to convince yourself that he was an irreplaceable part on the defensive line, you certainly wouldn't go as far as claiming he deserved the nine million dollar bonus he was owed.

What the Panthers have lacked in their ability to consistently draft stout defensive line talent (something no one has been more vocal about than I) they've more than made up for in their ability to assemble a respectable unit post-draft. Remember, these players you're pining for now (Diggs, Lewis) were met with derision on this very messageboard from many of the same posters when they were acquired.

People here should be wary about conflating losing players and losing production. The only player the Panthers have lost that they cannot replace, either by younger, more athletic, and cheaper players already on the team or after upcoming cuts, was Julius Peppers, and there was frankly nothing they could do about that.

What everyone should also keep in mind is that NFL football as a game is changing DRASTICALLY, and the Panthers have managed to put themselves in excellent position to counter the evolution of modern offenses and defensive rules.

Some day I'll do an effort post about that but part of me thinks I'd be wasting it here.

The Fox era is over. JR didn't want to bring in a new coach prior to the lockout and Fox didn't have a better option to go to.....therefore they have agreed to play the 2010 together.

There is nothing for Fox to "prove" this year. He is what he is. There is no extension coming for him. Obviously, JR is ready for a new era and it doesn't make business sense until after the 2010 season and lockout if there is one.

I don't know how you could know this unless you are privy to Richardson's thoughts. I don't know if the Fox era is over or not nor could you. It will not even be up to Richardson alone. Fox could choose to play elsewhere and will get offers if he is available. Seems to me you can indicate that Fox will coach this season. Beyond that is speculation or educated guess at best.

Actually I can. And have. And been doing quite well at it.

But due in part to me no longer weeding out the sped and in part to your piss poor modding abilities the intellectual discourse in this forum has become comparable to a bunch of toddlers throwing poo at one another in a mcdonalds play pin.

What exactly is your problem with the modding? That everyone doesn't agree with you? Maybe you don't lilke the spelling and grammar errors by others? What in my post needed to be moderated?

Also, we're talking about football. It's not a subject that requires a high level of intelligence to talk about.

well, it is an educated guess...that is all any of us can do.

If the John Fox era isn't over then why is he in a lame duck season? I mean, w/ his resume here it only makes sense that he "wasn't fired" b/c it made business sense to JR not to hire a new coach until after the lockout. There is nothing for Fox to prove. Jerry was obviously fine w/ him walking....there just didn't happen to be an opening for him to move onto this year.....therefore it makes sense for both of them to finish out 2010 and cut ties.

It ain't like Fox is going to have a team he can play Fox ball w/ this year and put Jerry in an odd position. The rebuilding and prep for post Fox has already begun.

And after all this time to look up big obscure words to make himself look better, he gets a 3 letter word wrong.
