That was one of the worst examples of mismanaging talent I think I've ever seen.

After year 1 he looked like he was going to a perennial pro-bowler, at the very least a top end starter. Then they tried to morph him into this ultra-versatile hybrid player that constantly switched between 3 different roles. Then blamed him and threw him under the bus when it didn't work. I'm sure he couldn't clear out his locker fast enough the second his contract was over.

Taking luxury picks and project players like Burns, Horn, Ekwonu, Legette, Young, Butler and Brown will wreck a roster. Add in trading away draft picks and key offensive players and there is no roster depth. Mix that with rookie defensive coaches like Snow and Evero and you have zero defensive culture that will be respected by proven NFL veterans.

Breaking all my rules with pass rushing specialist, 1st round QB with zero pro pedigree, 1st round CB, 1st round incomplete T that can't pass block. Above are 8 to 9 1st round picks - an entire decade.

Greg Olsen made it known today while announcing for another game how hard its been to watch the Panthers struggle for so long.

Problem is... you have to have cultural guys in support. For some resaon this team has lost that type of culture you speak of. We can blame Tepper, but it's not like Tepper wants to lose. We just seem to strike out at every gamble. Guys cannot stay healthy at all. Someone needs to bring a shaman in to burn some sage or something. I don't know what it is, but we just have some bad juju.

      Between the injuries and the JAG's they have playing, this has got to be the worst bunch they have ever had. Totally unable to stop any thing and just flopping around missing tackles with zero pass rush. After watching this team for 20 plus years, I can honestly say this is the worst I have seen. They should go full defense in the draft regardless of any other needs. No matter who the QB is, they can't win with this defense.

      It's not just Bryce. It's everything that Tepper sports touches turns to ass. The assistant guy to the GM that turned this team into a bigger laughing stock was the best GM hire available according to independent consulting? Translation. Only person willing to take the job. There's no fixing this team until Tepper is gone.

      Haha I was talking about espn spinning it to make it say “young shines”. The media will continue to do this crap and a lot of fans will do the same. Just look at one throw in garbage time and think he’s the guy. Let’s not forget the last two weeks when the offense looked capable or the first two weeks when the offense looked like a div three school.    How can they think he “shined”? It’s asinine.
