I’ll always love me some Levis but it’s becoming increasingly clear he doesn’t have it between the ears to match the physical talent. He’s probably done being a starter after this season.

Looks like the only legit QB out of last years draft is Stroud. Richardson is still so raw and ironically for being the most physically gifted dude, he is injury prone. Don't know if he'll ever reach his potential. I think Levis was drafted where his talent is, 2nd round, and his play is proving it.

This was known from the start.

At least he got his Mayo commerical. He will be out of the league in 3 years. You can't get far in this league without the IQ.

Just saw this RIP Pete Rose. He was my dads favorite player.

Watchinh this game is hard. Both teams here need Bryce Young to save them.

About 15 years ago, I spoke to Rose on the phone about Tommy Helms, the Reds' all star second basemen that was traded to Houston in a move that formed the big Red Machine.  Larry (Tommy's brother) and my father were friends, and Larry gave me the bat Tommy used in the 1968 all-star game in Houston when he was a Red.  When I mentioned Tommy and Larry to Rose, he shouted "Paw Creek!!!"  and proceeded to tell me how he used to visit Tommy and Larry and how they used to raise hell in Charlotte.  He even knew Larry's nickname (Pappa Bear or something like that--I forgot it specifically, but he knew it).  Larry later gave me a signed Pete Rose hat, baseball, etc. I never mentioned the hall of fame or the scandal to Rose--and I think he really appreciated talking about something else.

When I saw him in college I always thought he looked like he'd be the bad version of Sam Darnold.

Ive seen one rumor with stump legs about in the off-season trading levis for young and a 5th. Titans staff is upset with levis and its gotten to the public. Brian was due in the queen for a 2nd visit, but titans offered the job to him. So there maybe some smoke to this trade.....

    • Johnson has had two good weeks, and our first thought was, "I wonder what we can get for him." At some point, we need to collect and pay those assets.  its foolishness
    • Johnson is going to be 29 going into next season and I can't see us having our QB situation figured out and also re-stock an entire defense to be a contender in the next 2 seasons while he'll still be in his prime. That money would be much better spent on younger free agents on defense and then use our 1st Rounder on a true outside #1 WR (hello T-Mac) to have him and Legette under rookie contracts for the next 4-5 years while we build the rest of the team and figure out the QB. True stud #1 WRs generally don't become available through FA and rarely by trade, but usually need at least a 1st to get them.  The best way to get those game changing WRs is to draft them in the first, let's do it back to back years and get a nice young pairing on the outside. I'm probably taking a 2nd from them for him if offered, even if it's 64, that's a good player right there. And I said in a thread yesterday that we should be calling them up for Thielen, I could see them giving up a 3rd for him if they can't get anything better.  I think he'd be a really nice fit with Mahomes and all the other speed they already have there and be a nice compliment from the slot and finding openings in the defense where Mahomes will always find him in a pinch. Thielen and Kelce in the slot on each side with their speed WRs on the outside would be dangerous for Mahomes
    • funniest thing would be to trade him for the Chiefs 1st rounder, and then sign him as a FA in the offseason anyway
