It's sh*t like that that goes unnoticed and changes a WHOLE football game. If we don't convert that 3rd down, a whole chain of events happen. We punt the ball down 7 and probably go down by 14 points by halftime. All because the refs want to intentional spot the ball 4 yards behind where Sanders ended up.

I dont think anyone was saying Dalton should be the future. At best a bridge QB to the next solution.

Namely. We need a stopgap so the panthers dont feel like they need to trade the farm for a QB again. build the team up first, then get your QB. 

Our team aint ready to win big with the defense in shambles as it is.

I thought Darnold was looking really close under Wilks. Couple of times things went bad he made the right read and just missed the throw. That is much bette than the wrong read. And he has the arm.
