Sanders is the best QB in this draft. All these other QBs have elite Oline play. Put Sanders behind those Oline and he's leading the nation in passing.

Saying that I doubt we go QB. Especially if we end up winning more games than expected. My dream has always been drafting Travis Hunter. If we can't get him Tmac the WR from Arizona would also be nice.

Didn't you say the same thing about Bryce?

Sanders is going to be a head case.  I wouldn’t touch him at QB anywhere near the first round.  Tmac is a beast though

I’ve been watching him since year 1 at WSU — I thought he was gonna declare last year and have been excited to see his development over the years

2 seasons back, Oregon vs Wash State was one of his big turning point games. It was back and forth, and he had that energy of putting everything on his back, played great but made some forced/aggressive errors trying to do too much. But showed some awesome awesome promise.

Overall, has a great build, just a real brick of a dude. Not towering or anything but a few main checks: He has the size, release, and arm strength. 3 biggie quals. Is also agile, elusive, but can stand in the pocket and push the team downfield. He’s not a looser goose pocket bailer.

Last season, his awareness and decision making improved a ton. Really grew as a passer.  Sando, Brugler and the Prospects to Pros guys had some good discussion on him. Accuracy still left scouts something to be desired so rumor was he was perceived in the 2nd-4th rounds. So he stayed in school another year and transferred.

And this year, the accuracy is looking somewhat improved. I just love when you see a dude that has the physical traits and the leader gene steadily get better like he has. He has a ceiling he’s still working towards which would make him a pretty high reward pick if he turns out.

Nope Bryce was at an elite program. His Oline was never bad. This comment has nothing to do with what I said about Sanders.

I missed on Bryce. I also said I would take Jayden Daniels as the #1 pick. So far I look to be right on that.

You win some you lose some, but you live to fight another day!

It's hard to gauge him into the NFL.  He is basically playing 7 on 7 style of ball with a top tier WR corp vs meh talent.

It wouldn't be a shock to see Sanders come into the NFL and get wrecked in a NFL pocket.  He isn't suddenly going to get rid of the ball and make quick throws.

Sanders is only a headcase because you hate his father.

I have yet to see him have any trouble off the field. What exactly makes him a headcase?

Celebrating and having commercials as a college athlete doesn't make you a headcase either.

Do better.

    • I saw that too. He and Sanders (TE) both let a guy in untouched. I have no idea who was supposed to get him. Still a damned solid performance over all.
    • I think it is going to likely boil down to him not wanting to be here so we might have to make a big overpay again.
    • My responses in bold. Is this Dan's burner account or something? lol what a ridiculous post I'm willing to give Dan some benefit of the doubt on a few of these things. I personally am high on Brooks but I'm not proclaiming him our future until we see him do something here. Not sold on Legette, of course his low stats have been partially due to Bryce but I haven't seen nearly enough from him to say he'll be a stud. Wallace can barely earn playing time and is overhyped, he could turn out to be great but again nothing we've seen yet suggests that will happen. We're riding a high wave due to such a great game from Dalton, etc. last week, and I'm willing to see how things continue to play out with Dalton before making big proclamations, but I'm still highly skeptical of this roster as a whole and our cap situation is an absolute mess this year and next. We also really don't have a single star impact player on the team right now, D Brown is the closest thing but he's only shown it for 1 season before now getting a significant injury. Dan has been GM for less than a year but he's been AGM for several years before that and was a significant part of the front office that left us in this big mess.  I think it's more likely than not that Dan will be fired within the next 3 years. I hope I'm wrong but after years of having blind faith and getting bitten every time under Tepper, I've become much more of a realist.
