Why is moving him now a bad thing? How is his value better in the offseason when teams are desperate now. It's the Burns trade all over, it was always higher in season when some team is trying to salvage their year vs all the other options in the offseason. 

I get if there was any doubt but there shouldn't be at this point. 

It's financially irresponsible to make that move now.

Yeah I don't think we'll be seeing any of Young until playoff elimination or injury opens up the spot for the little scrub.

 

edit: so it shouldn't be a hardship on us. Probably on him but he is paid very well to suffer in good health

Looking at over the cap, it looks like we incur some penalty by trading him?  Maybe we’re too close to the cap to make the move?
