On another note. Panthers fans know better than anyone what it ends with when your franchise QB takes too many unnecessary hits no matter how big he is. It takes an accumulative toll. His coaches better address that before they get him banged up or worse. Also see AR.

I'm gonna hold off hoping anything for a guy in the NFC that we have to play later this year. And in the future. 

He does look good, I'm hoping he looks like poo whenever that game is.

Kingsbury took a lot of heat for Arizona, but the Washington offense looks good.  It seems very well designed for a rookie QB that can run as well as pass.

Its early and all, but I did have daniels as the clear #1 QB.

I did have Maye as my #1 and still do. Wasn’t sure about Caleb as his playstyle was mostly improvising out of pocket. Hadn’t seen Daniels much, but was sceptical how much upside he had after five years as a starter. But that was a great game from him.

So apparently, the key to drafting a qb is to have the number two draft pick.

At this rate, unless Daniels can flip a switch in his head and completely change his running style, he won't be their starting QB 5 years from now.  It has nothing to do with him not being good, as he clearly has a very high ceiling, but he just can't get sliding into his head properly, and at some point, if he can't change that, he's going to get hurt.

He has RG3 and Tua written all over him, and while he may get away with it 95% of the time, all it takes is that 5% to rear it's ugly head and take a hit or two that he shouldn't have, and it's all downhill for him from there.

If he was built like a Cam, Allen, Richardson, then it would be different, but he's not, he looks like a very similar body type to RG3, and we've seen that doesn't hold up in this league over time if you can't properly slide when you're supposed to.

It's still early and he very well could change, but if he doesn't, he's in trouble

Ironic you should say that.  A couple of people (Brady and Orlovsky) have recently said that part of the problem is that qb's are thrown into starting roles immediately and don't spend enough time in college or in the pros learning the offense and working their way up.   Orlovsky implied that Stroud spending three years in school, redshirting a year, was one of the reasons he did so well.

That is somehow connected to "if your enemy is making a mistake, don't stop him".

I expected early success from him and Nix due to their experience, so I’m not super surprised. I was more concerned about their upside if that makes sense.

For different reasons it can be. At the same time, NFL talent is pretty recognizable in some and that tends to hold true.
