I wonder if Hunt knowing Wilkins' tendencies during their 2+ years together in Miami helped as well.  That's a lot of practice time where they squared up on the line. 

Awesome to see Icky doing better.  He looked very confident in the run game again, much more like what we were sold on. 

These young LTs can go through ebs and flows.. I.E. Cross is starting to crush it it, Andrew Thomas is finally playing a bit better.

Nah, they were trash last year. There is a reason they went out and spent all that money. The inside of the line was a turnstile and Ikky hit his sophomore slump.

Definitely not saying they were great but there are reasons, even after spending all that money on the oline, they were breaching that Bryce had to be sub 3 seconds, which he wasn’t last year

I'd imagine most teams are in a similar situation though.  Good OL are hard to come by and few teams have decent depth there.

2. top qb play

3. top defense

in that order. Exceptions being Eli Manning’s line another a couple others.

you can do a HELLA lot with just an oline

Maybe I’m wrong, but in the TD pass to Diontae, Ickey got beat pretty bad and Dalton had to move his pocket to get that pass off. That feels like a pressure to me

Yeah, those were both supporting blockers that fuged those up. That seemed pretty obvious.

The fact that the entire line looks so much better speaks to how much of a dumpster fire our 2023 season was.

The problem with last year's line was the interior got destroyed far too often (as in like pushed backwards several yards when pass blocking) and might be the reason that Bryce drops back way too deep for no reason every pass play.

I honestly didn't think Ickey played that terrible last year outside of his penalties. LG was awful and really put pressure on him to guard his guy while trying to help out on inside pass rushes also.
