More than 10 teams have taken Dez Bryant off their boards

Apparently you've never hired anyone.

doesn't matter. there are alot of guys that will get drafted that will eff up. Did Big Ben and Santonio Holmes look like trouble when they were drafted? no. Sometimes you take a chance on a good player. And if I am a team w/ a good front office, and a smart coach who knows how to deal w/ players I take him. and what exactly has he done? no arrests, hasn't been charged w/ any time of crime, character concerns? that describes ALOT of the league

I don't think Bryant's a bad guy. I just think he's dumb. There's still a risk, but there's a difference.

again I agree, but that describes alot of guys. I alot of people are overreacting and will miss out. I don't see how any time from about 15-32 that need a WR can pass on him

Dez Bryant and Demarius Thomas are definite wildcards. Both have high upsides but there are red flags waving everywhere. Call me crazy but the way i have been mocking the WR's is

10. Dez to Jax. The Torry Holt experiment did not work.

11. Golden Tate. Tate is the Anti-Marshall. If the 08 draft could be redone i bet Harvin would have went higher.

35. Benn. The Buccs need a WR and i actually think Benn has the most potential as a number 1.

So believe it not Mardy, Bay Bay, Lefell, and Damian are all available when we pick. I have the Chiefs and Patriots waiting till after us to take their WR choices. Loading up on other needed talent with their other 2nd round picks.

I am 100% sure that Benn or Damian Williams or both will be available at #48.

I went back and watched some highlight reels last night on five receivers: Arrelious Benn, Damian Williams, Mardy Gilyard, Brandon Lafell and Jacoby Ford. A week ago, I would have said the two that jumped out at me as perfect fits for Carolina would be Brandon Lafell and Mardy Gilyard. However, after watching a couple hours of vids on these guys, I was most impressed by Arrelious Benn and Damian Williams with Jacoby Ford as a possible slot receiver for the Panthers. Although, I still like Gilyard and Lafell, for some reason I just have this strong belief that Fox and Hurney will pull the trigger on Benn, Williams or Ford (should they still be there at 48).

and my reasoning for the above would be the fact that i noticed how benn, williams and ford all come back to the ball. they go after it, regardless of where the ball is thrown. their footwork is ridiculous too. but i also liked their return abilities on ST... but you can include gilyard in that category too, cause he's sick on returns!
