Brandon Marshall signs tender

Oklahoma State WR Dez Bryant will reportedly visit with the Broncos on Wednesday.

Interesting timing with talks talks expected to intensify after Brandon Marshall signed his tender offer on Tuesday. With Marshall likely departing, the Broncos will be in the market for a potential No. 1 receiver. Bryant fits the bill at No. 11 overall.

from a Hawks point of view...we gladly offer up Branch and a draft pick for Marshall and hopefully a change of coach/scenery will help clean him up!

considering he hasn't been in any major trouble for over 2 years, has stated since his last real incident that he needs to clean himself up off the field, and that he goes to work even if he isn't happy with his contract.. I think it's worth taking a chance...

Chances look great that whoever picks him up is about to pick up one of the best receivers in the league..

agree....his off field issues are zero concern for me! This could be a huge opportunity for the Hawks to greatly improve. Sign him, focus on Oline with #6 and #14, perhaps even trade down #14.

Face it people, we aren't going after any big name WR in FA. We have a lot invested in D. Jarrett, so it's his time to step up so he will be #2 and we will draft a WR in the draft.

Run game first!

Uh....no. I just don't think Jarrett will be here after next season is over. I think a different team would be best for him. But Marshall signing his tender is interesting. It could help get a better WR in the draft if we don't nab him & I don't think we will though.

If Denver does trade Marshall then they will likely enter the market for a WR. They have two picks ahead of us and would probably take a WR.

I have a feeling Denver is drafting Dez Bryant anyway so it wouldn't matter what receivers dropped to the second round 2 spots before our pick.

it wouldn't surprise me a bit to hear that there has already been a trade made and the discussions were going on under the table.

marshall probably won't last longer than 24 hours after signing this thing. if he does then either the broncos are still being really picky about what they will take or marshall is more reviled by owners than we could have imagined.

Great, now he'll go somewhere for a 4th or 5th and 500 idiots will be unable to grasp the idea that most teams wouldn't trade for Marshall if Denver traded them THEIR draft picks.

lol... being unable to grasp what a steal Marshall would be giving up a 4th or 5th is more idiotic.. come on man.. for real?
