Brandon Marshall signs tender

Kinda funny isn't it. This year we really, really, really, need to get a WR. Big names have been put on the trade block and been moved for relative low costs. But we decide, despite many failures, that the draft is our best shot to get a WR. Wait it's not funny. I'm confusing it with another word that starts with a "F". Ummmm, oh yeah, frustrating.

its much mroe fun to develop a WR, didnt you know?

my fear is we finally find smitty's compliment the year he starts to decline and "double trouble" has become "single nusance" and we have missed our window of oppurtunity with all this talent on the roster. we only need a few pieces and this offense would be scary!

the team that gave up the WR is now in the hunt and i believe they have a first round pick so it seems to me that we wont gain anything.

steelers have other REALLY pressing needs above WR, even with holmes leaving. it's pretty doubtful that they would choose to go with a WR when they need OL upgrades so desperately. they could also be looking at a QB early as well if ben keeps pissing the FO off. CB and ILB are also huge needs that might be considered greater than WR right now.

now if marshall does leave the broncos, that could mean that they will want to be going WR earlier than anticipated so that might be a problem but they have pretty big needs on the OL and ILB as well so they could be addressing that. their DL is pretty suspect so that is another direction. i'm not too worried about them.

that is funny!!!! if we are able to get him we should, no questions asked. and grab a wr later in the draft.

Who needs troubled WRs who can take over games and add another dimension to your offense when you can draft nice guys who can't learn their playbooks and drop balls more often than Adam Lambert drops the soap at his local gym? Carolina that's who.

ashame we don't have a FO smart enough to find us a Randy Moss for a 4th rounder like the Pats got.

The Pats had a very strong veteran presence in their locker room that could keep Moss in line. We couldn't plug a similar character into our current locker room.

wont' denver then need a wr? and now pittsburgh? this logic doesnt necessarily work.

i've seen a couple mocks with the broncos taking dez bryant and if marshall goes then i suspect that number will go up but they want to have a power running game and they are an oline short of that...plus they also are pretty thin at RB. there's no telling where they go with or without marshall. most mocks have them taking rolando mcclain which makes the most sense.

one thing everyone can agree on... this FO doesn't know how to bring in high quality receivers.
