Rivera benched Cam for not wearing a tie, Bryce wouldn’t have lasted 2 quarters.

That was Gettleman according to Cam himself. And he didn't get benched. He missed 1 series

Right? You can actually see the vision He has.

Rhule? Release Cam and sign Teddy to big money. Try and win now with limited resources and trade picks away to get a QB no matter what.

Rivera had a process. He said “Super Bowl in three years”, it took four but still, his process worked, then we paid Cam and Cam wasn’t good enough to compensate for the lack of cap space that signing big contracts results in.

Brady could win Super Bowls because he was good enough to carry a team, year after year. Mahomes is good enough to carry a team when needed, year after year. Josh Allen is now at that point.

Cam was never to that point, unfortunately. Fun period of team history but I do think how good he actually was is overblown a bit. I believe he was a slow processor and was constantly late out of the huddle. Now a part of that falls on Ron for not making changes at offensive coordinator but still.

One of my main complaints about Ron was that he never benched people for poor play. There was a generous handful of times when there was obviously a problem on the o-line but he wouldn't do anything about it, and then the problem player got injured and as predicted the back-up was way better.

    • I'm really impressed with the guy, Coach Canalas-But to keep this short....(Because I could really expand on this with alot of TDLDRLRTD'ed) I'd rather keep it short, sweet and simple.  Fun. What he and Dalton really expands on alot of...  underneath all the schematics, engineering of a playbook, contracts, grueling practice, sweat, tears and nagging pain, ibuprofens..,etc... Is bringing it back to why we played sports in our pee wee leagues. Because it was dog gone fun.   Pyschology of Fun on gameday.. Pretty easy to grasp, but this conduces looseness.  When you've learned something through basically muscle memory, the last thing you really need on gameday is the calculator robot without emotion. We are human, Emotion and fun of winning brings a locker room up faster than any large paycheck to the leagues best player or in other words, It's genius to lighten up.  Canalas does this naturally. Dalton does this naturally. These are guys you want to go out to eat with. Hang out with. They're fun. Before football, we're human.  How do we win as humans? trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.  The obvious factors of knowing football are I believe pretty given at this stage of the sport.. The "IT" factor for this era, I believe, is their engineering of football X's and O's, but intrinsically the guys you have fun with.
    • I’m not new at all.   Being a Panthers fan has sucked for a long time…and yesterday I felt proud to say it again.
    • Does it matter? The Titans also fumbled that pick away, even though I still think Levis can be a really good QB in the NFL. I think people forget that it takes time to develop for 99% of players regardless of position and that isn’t afforded to them anymore.
