A closer look at the first sack

Well huddle we get to discuss some real football today.  The first sack on Dalton yesterday was a doozy.  Icky had a god awful rep, never saw the free rusher, never got a hand on him and ended on an island as Dalton went down.  The last few frames look like a bad rep for Lewis as well but that's misleading as his rusher simulated and dropped out.

Clearly a missed assignment by Sanders dude Mingo chip blocked the guy already and he's a full ten yards from Dalton yet Sanders attempts to block him instead of the guy coming on a delayed blitz/not designed blitz.

At least Sanders is on a man.  Icky never puts a hand on anyone in this rep.

Was it the second sack where Miles Sanders decided to immediately turn and block Icky (or was it Moton?) and let a free rusher through?  It seems like the common theme with our sacks is just confusion and mental mishaps rather than getting beat 1-on-1.

I'll look at that one later when I have some more time.

Sanders blocked moton, both were failed blitz pick up by the backs as I pointed out above Jatavion Sanders trying to block a guy 10+ yards from the QB instead of the guy in his face is the real problem here.

It looked like Ja'Tavion Sanders got turned around too.  Hard to tell who goofed on that one.

Gonna have to disagree on this one.  Sanders is in conflict and at least puts a hat on hat.  No way the play was drawn up for Icky to never touch anyone.

By your own analysis this is clearly show in this photo, Ickey had no way of knowing Lewis man was about to drop back he's being held in place above.....

Mingo previously blocked the other guy he's a minimum of 12 yards away when Sanders chooses to block him.....

As you can see Ickey is held there by the LB.
