Very short segment at the beginning of the segment. They gave almost 0 credit to Dalton or Canales and mainly blamed the organization for not benching Bryce sooner. But Teddy had a great point in that the players don't care about QB development they care about winning.

One of these idiots gave no blame to Bryce and called our win a "Sugar high"

Rex said its not legit bc we beat a team not expected to do well (Raiders)

Rex highly critical, giving the panthers an "F" for how they handled Bryce lol.

The host asked the best question at the end of if this game affected how they think about Bryce Young because it made panthers look competitive. They didn't even answer the question!!! LOL

Rex Ryan only gives good reviews about 1 thing - feet...

Hate to disagree with you TD, there is nothing to suggest he will be in the NFL much longer after we release or trade him

Make no mistake, he agrees with you. He is just respectful enough to not throw shade at Bryce while he is already down. Everyone knows he’s done. Only those of us on online message boards can be candid about it though.

People just dont understand that Bryce cant see over the line which eliminates all passes in the middle of the field. He doesnt have the arm to throw more than 20 yards which eliminates the deep threat. So teams play to the outside and play the rush making the play calling so easy to read. If he does throw over the middle he has to throw it high to not get it batted down and it sails over the receiver which happened 2  times already. I think Stroud wouldve thrived here because he can make the pass. He has the stature and touch and I said all this draft day. If Bryce was 6'2" yes he could be better but he is limited and really in order for him to be good here, we wouldve needed Sean Payton as a HC.

I don't understand the people saying Bryce can make all the throws.

What is that? His velocity is less; when he throws to the same target the ball simply takes longer to get there. Is that enough to beat these DBs? I was always on the down side of that. It is just harder to do. Why make it harder? I never got it.

Dalton isn't winging it like AR but he is NFL level.

Sounds like what most of our fanbase thinks about JC Horn

I'm always on the fence. I'm a big believer in 'the best ability is availability'.  I do think Horn has elite potential, but he has to stay healthy this year at least, no question about it.

I'll eat the crow. I was dead wrong. I am shocked that Bryce is clearly this awful at this point.

I do hope that some of the scouting and talent acquisition positions that allowed this to happen have at least been seriously evaluated.

I'm happy as I can be, but genuinely shocked. Not sure at this moment if Bryce has any value. Maybe Sean Payton or another offensive guy would take a look at a very cheap price.

As for us, this clearly makes us a viable NFL team at least. The raiders aren't great, but we looked really solid. .500 the rest of the way is about the ceiling in my view, but that's a lot higher ceiling than I previously imagined.

Same. I was also shocked to see he regressed from even last years standards. Damn shame. Glad we still have Dalton on the roster

It's crazy to me how folks can watch last season and blame it on Bryce but then watch the first two games from this season and NOT blame him.

The difference in the OL and the weapons alone were massive upgrades. Going from a 6th string guard to a top 5 one? Upgrading the 7th string guard to a starting NFL guard? Huuuuuge. Plus this year's DJ has shown he can separate unlike last season's DJ.

That's not even getting into coaching.

Glad that the team finally sat him. QBs have been boned pretty bad development-wise by teams trying to drop a newbie into the most important position in football so that they can "use the money elsewhere" (which rarely seems to be spent correctly). Gotta win on the field, not the balance sheet. Letting Bryce sit and absorb from the sideline is not only better for him but the team as well. If the team gets eliminated from postseason contention they'll probably put Bryce in to see if the reset has helped at all.

Still pulling for the kid! Sucks that he got beat up so bad last season and is clearly still rattled from it, but Clowney also overheard Bryce telling Dalton that whatever Andy needs he's going to be it for him. While his play has lost him favor, guys will notice and appreciate his professionalism (even if fans won't).

The situation last year wasn’t bad 100% of the time though. There are so many plays last year that were similar to this year where Bryce simply didn’t throw the damn ball. Dalton did the same thing in Seattle last year as he did in LV this year. He proved it wasn’t as bad as Bryce made it seem

I think both Bryce and Caleb Williams are so used to hanging back there in the pocket for so long that the speed of the NFL game is really going to take some serious time to adjust to.

The problem for Bryce though is that he lacks the physical tools whereas Caleb doesn’t. That ball Dalton threw to Thielen isn’t a pass Bryce would ever attempt in a million years and that’s the problem

That's what I am just scratching my head about. Even if you thought he was bad last year, he clearly looks worse this year. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything quite like it. In week 2 he looked afraid to be out there, almost like Henry Rowengartner in rookie of the year.

    • What I really learned here is that the Carolina Panthers aren't anywhere near as bad as I initially thought they were earlier this year.  We've got a young and growing offense with some promising parts. But it still needs some tweaks and improvements.  We really still could still use a dominant #1 WR. But Chubba,  Legette, Coker,  and J.Sanders have generally looked decent. Bryce took a big leap after the benching. We can score enough points to keep pace with 2x defending super bowl champions, so offense isn't a huge issue. Main thing that needs improvement is defense. We sorely need a CB 2, and a number of new players at Dline and LB.  We're not quite as bad at edge with Wonnum showing promise.  But we definitely need 1 or 2 more edges Clowney is old.  Run D is probably worse prevailing theme these past couple years. We really need a good young stud or two to pair with Derrick Brown and another LB to pair up with Trevin Wallace. If Morgan and Canales can focus on rebuilding the defense this off-season and possibly going out and getting a #1 WR. This team could easily be somewhere around 7-10 to 10-7 and flirting with playoffs in 1 or 2 seasons. Overall this game has made me feel alot more positive about the direction of the team.
    • With our picks we need pass rush, lb, Safety, a speedster yac wr, o line depth and I still want a mid round qb. We got 9 picks and 8 in the first 5 rounds. If they pull Off another solid draft we be cooking.
    • We had one passing touchdown against the Giants and one passing touchdown against the Chiefs today. Yes a good backup can replicate that. And that is why Andy Dalton in significantly less games has the same number of 30 point outings as Bryce Young. I am on board with you guys about wanting to be hopeful for the future. Today was a good performance to build on especially at home. But let's please keep things in perspective. BTW the Bucs who honestly aren't even that good blew the doors off the Giants today after we went to overtime against them with 17 points. Again. Perspective.
