If he comes at the right price, why not keep him around while the rest of the team is being built? Make this a good place for a rookie QB to even be able to develop at all. Or make it an attractive option for a FA QB.

That should have happened last season. But they got the rookie wrong and Fitterer and or Tepper would not let Young sit for a year. They are now a year behind in developing a rookie because they don't have one yet.

I'd like a 2 year deal for Andy. Give us 1 year to sit a newly drafted prospect and 1 year for him to be the backup.

The crazy thing is now that we know we can win some games, we have no earthly clue what our draft position is going to be. I agree we likely wont be bad enough to get ARCH in 2026 unless somehow Bryce starts the entire season lol.

I think they need to try and sign Darnold assuming he plays well the rest of the way, resign Dionte and build a smash mouth football team in Dan Morgan’s image.  All we need is competent QB

I think Dalton would be expensive because of his voided years?  That's what I was told by someone who knows more about that cap than I do.

Would you trust Tepper if you were Darnold? Did everything they could to not have him play in 2022.
