Andy Dalton

Dalton is a decent player, but with him you face the same question that you currently face with Cam Newton.

How long can he be good?

How many games can they last?

He's certainly a good stopgap, but you don't want to have to depend on him for a long time.

I think Uncle Rico is better than present day Dalton.

Uncle Rico was solid on a horrific Jag team.

Came in last year and posted a winning record with Indy.  Saw more wins last year in relief than Carolina has seen in a long time.

Completing 77% if his balls this year

You still think Minshew is better?

Andy Dalton was drafted by Cincy in the second round, same year we drafted Cam at #1.  We were bad, and Andy had some good years for the Bengals.  I remember some of their fans saying they drafted the better QB as we struggled to put together an offense around Cam.  Cam of course went on to become MVP.

Absolutely crazy to watch Dalton leading us to a 20 point lead right now, while Cam is out of the league.
