The Dolphins are shopping Ted Ginn Jr.

Mike Florio said on NFL Sirius that he felt that Holmes only going for a 5th would devalue Marshall. He said that despite the 4 game suspension when a Superbowl MVP goes for so little it suppresses the market for everyone else. He felt that Miami was in the hunt for him either during the draft or right after when a team could give up next year's 1st or 2nd. I wonder if shopping Ginn is in preparation to make that happen.

would rather have Bess, wasnt there some talk last season about him being up for grabs?

of course Gin has worn out hiw welcome in Mia, and a 4th or 5th could get him. he hasnt had any off field issues, and is looking for a new start. could be a decent fit. he wouldnt require much money, and he would be better than another WR we could take in the later rounds possibly.

but it aint gonna happen

If they take a 6th I say go for it. Since we seem to be upgrading our special teams he would be a welcome addition there. And he can always play the slot. The problem is too many people actually know who he is and our front office likes picking up no-name contributers.

After seeing that video...pass. He sucks

dude hes garbage. he single handedly lost us the colts and saints game. not to mention the first patriots game last year. henne stopped throwing him the ball. 9th overall pick was behind greg camarillo and davone bess (both undrafted free agents) and 4th round pick brian hartline on the depth chart to end the season. he runs horrible routes and crosses his hands when trying to catch the ball. hes a joke.

good kick returner though lol

well, it ain't Ginn's fault the Phins reached and made him too high of a pick....he never was a 9th overall caliber pick. I think for what he is....he is actually decent. Ginn is a weak #2 or #3 WR in the NFL who can return kicks....He is better than any #3 WR Carolina has had on there roster for multiple seasons in a row.

the ONLY reason i would entertain him being on the team. 6th or 7th rounder sounds good for a one dimensional returner.

its been reported multiple places the texans were gunna take him at 10 if we didnt. so it wasnt much of a reach. regardless of draft position, people have tried to help him (mark duper for instance) who was really fast but not much of a WR when he first entered the league and wanted to help ginn, but ginn never returned his emails. ginns a joke, and a complete bitch...always ducking out of bounds and falling down instead of taking contact...he had a pitiful yard after catch average last year....its pathetic.

edit: he had a 1.3 YAC average. holy poo!
