Kurt Warner was willing to play in dog poo arena football and NFL Europe.  You think Bryce would be willing to do that?  Hell, Jake Delhomme was Kurt's backup in NFL Europe for a time.

Yeah I don't think we'll see Bryce doing that. Maybe the Birmingham Stallions! He might still have some fans down there

Bryce is not Brees.

Bryce won't be able to do it like Brees.

Bryce can't be taught do do it like Brees.

Size is only a part of the issue. It's actually the smallest part of the issue at the moment, because there is a mental disconnect with what and how he's supposed to actually do the job at a fundamental level. That is something that Brees never had to overcome.

What is going on with Bryce is a regression combined with being a player with limited physical abilities/traits and i'm not sure how to deal with or overcome that. the hope is someone with limited physical ability/traits will have a solid enough mental game to compensate for what they lack physically. that somewhere, somehow they would find a balance. successful QBs find a way to make it work. With Bryce this season, there is nothing to balance out the negative aspects of him as a player. He physically and mentally struggles to see the field and he has lost the ability to process situations.

it's just not as simple as helping him find lanes because he's lost.

People have been putting his name in the same conversations as hall of fame QB's for over a year now. Stop the madness. At this point he has to prove he's even a mediocre to average starter let alone very good or elite or in the company of hall of famers.

we all bought the super processer hype or russel wilson 2.0

we wound up with a nice little guy in a game that got too big and scary for him the longer he stayed on the field.

Kurt Warner was Bryce level bad once Faulk waned and it took him 5 years to get back. If Brooks is good and it coincides with a Dalton resurgence take it with a grain of salt

Bet the Kurt Warner Europe journey never happens if he got a 37 million guaranteed contract prior

This board is so negative. Hope yall find some women some day.

You are right in a way. And many people have just shifted their complaining to a different focus.

There is a really good list of things pushed Panther fans to this state of mind. Watch though, if the players on the field do well, like even simulate good football, there will be a lot of positive hype going around.

Brees was a more talented player. Secondly, the Saints wouldn't have had the success they did if not for bounty gate, and the post Katrina sympathy boost they got from the NFL and the officials. I was never on board with emulating their bullshit.

Brees didn’t look or play this small. I never once focused on his height and thinking how does he see over his line, play on his toes, or seem him do a pathetic jump pass.
