Those stats would have great in the 1970's. They seem pedestrian in today's pass oriented NFL. That said, If Bryce had posted those numbers in 2023, or by the end of the current 2024 season , we'd all be ok with those numbers and he'd be firmly entrenched as our starter going forward.

Dalton had to throw 58 times for those 361 yards. It's not the achievement a lot of you guys claim it is.

Passing for 2 TDs and moving the offense for 27 points isn't too bad for the backup in his first action of the season.  You know, for the guy that hardly gets any first team reps and usually just hold a clipboard.  ZERO picks in those 58 attempts as well.  Has Bryce ever gone a span of 58 passes without a pick?

There was definitely a mandate from Tepper for Canales to start Young and hand him the job from day 1. I think Tepper saw enough in the first 2 games and finally said fug it do what you want. However now we're crippled because the offseason was approached with that "salvage Bryce" mandate.

Ehhh I actually think we see dramatic offensive improvement with Dalton the line has been DRAMATICALLY better than last year.

It's possible we could even be watchable
