I predicted 1 win. There's no panic here. He showed all last season he can't play at this level.

I dont know who in the hell you think we are going to beat? At this rate we are going to get blown out by every team on our schedule.

No defense can stand a chance with a team that doesnt get a first down until 4 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. Totally unacceptable, We all know that Bryce cant start at this level.

I know it looks grim, but there will be 1 game on that schedule that the opponent is missing a key player, or they just didn't prepare enough, or the ball bounces the wrong way. Make no mistake, we are not better than any other team in the league.

The ball could bounce the wrong way but unless it leads directly to points its not going to matter.

Defense.ST would have to score multiple TDs in the same game.

Panic, I think not. Most Panther fans, including myself, did not expect this years team to be any better than last years, or to  see any improvement with QB Bryce Young.

Let's be honest, this is not a good period in time to be a Panthers fan.

I said three games was our ceiling. Well...maybe not.

Let's just skip forward to the NFL draft and the #1 pick belonging to Carolina...

I've seen enough of Bryce to know what he is, and aside from building a top 10 OLine, and then at least one top 10 WR, top 10 RB and top 10 TE - he ain't winning in the NFL.

Whatever traits he had in college were amplified by having a stacked roster and system that worked for many more before him.

He doesn't have an IT factor, he doesn't have the arm talent or the strength to win at this level without a majorly helpful supporting cast, which is why the Panthers made a terrible trade to get him.

Desperate move by a desperate owner of a desperate ffranchise. It'll be 5 more seasons before this team is relevant.

I think it’s only those who thought Bryce needed this and that who are panicking. It was quite clear last year that we weren’t going to be able to do anything with Bryce

    • Also... again, it's not even like he said he doesn't watch film, just that he doesn't enjoy it. I know some football players are film junkies, just like some people are that way with certain aspects of any job.  But there is no job out there that you have to enjoy doing the "worst" part of the job to be great at the job. It would be like not wanting to have Allen Iverson on your team because he doesn't like practice. (and no, before someone jumps on me for it, I'm not trying to say T-Mac is going to be a 1st ballot HOF legend like Iverson, just pointing out that you can be great and still not enjoy the tedious parts of the game/job)
    • I'd only find a problem if that video was current or a recent question was asked about film watching in the NFL and his answer was " Nah, braaH ".  Quiet honestly if a player doesn't watch film in during the off hours, that's not a problem to me. The fact is modern NFL team spend hours each working day in with their position coaches going over hours and hours of film. When the players union got rid of contact and pads, it was replaced by workouts/lifting and hours of film study. A normal NFL day is around 8-10 depending on many factors, like health status. They spent dang near 6 hours in a room watching film and going over techniques, mistakes, and game plans etc.  Personally Id rather hit one another, but Im old school and have no place among the youth mindset... Balance is too far over.....
