cant really blame him for feeling this way, if he played any other position he would at least just be buried on the depth chart until getting cut, but you can’t do that with a #1 pick QB

I mean I couldn’t be Joe Cool as people politely asked why I was a dumpster fire.  But I’m not paid millions to do that very thing. 

More than just physical tools…Bryce has never seemed to have the standard mental makeup generally seen in the role at this level. I always go back to Eli Manning is really the only dude I have seen work out that just didn’t have it most of his career

No he won't.  The Panthers are an after thought for the sports press and always will be unless we win a conference championship.  They could gaf about BY at this point - they have moved on -  we are the fools who still care at all.

yes he will be

he is an alabama qb who won a national championship and a cfpoty. the panthers passed on cj stroud for him, after sending multiple picks and dj moore, including a pick that became caleb williams. to say nothing about the other picks. 

whether or not the panthers are an afterthought is irrelevant. bryce is a historic fugup and we will be associated with him until people stop talking about football or professional sports

It’s mind boggling that he made it this far. There are Uncle Rico's and Highschoolers out there who step in and do a better job right now. 
 

It honestly makes you question how college players are evaluated.

It just dawned on me as to why he kept rubbing his arms and shoulders during that presser. He's setting the stage to have some kind of injury to his arms which would necessitate him sitting. I don't care if it's a phantom injury to save face. Just bench him.

Bryce realizes that he is in the wrong line of work. His objective at this point is not winning. It’s to not die, and I’m sure he doesn’t have many friends in the locker room. 

 with his admitted previous struggle with alcohol (that’s VERY big of him to admit that. Vast majority do not, and it’s very common), his mental health is probably in rough shape.  Very strong correlation with alcoholism and depression. I can’t think of a better circumstance for his head to be in a bad way. Mental health is a really big deal that carries over to every aspect of peoples’ lives. I would fashion a good guess he’s probably seeking professional help. Meds can have the ability to dull the darkness but also turn the give a damn completely off. I’m in the biz and know what it looks like. 

I just know that if I were in his circumstances where the entire locker room and thousands more fans were plain personally hateful and I had to be around it every day… it’d be pretty damn rough. 

This is not a poor Bryce post or any assassination on his character. It’s just an observation of what could be going on.
