Knowing what we know now, would any team in the league even draft Bryce?

I've always been low on Bryce, but it is completely fair IMO to wonder if he'd be closer to Teddy (as one example) than where he is if he was in a better situation. Not an excuse for his poor play of course, but there is always a  'nurture' aspect to it.

Better situation? We just spent so much of the cap on OL, traded for a WR, and drafted a TE and WR and brought in a HC that is supposed to be QB friendly.

Panthers, same team that's keeping a bottom 100 NCAA QB in plumber on the ps. They would still be the dummies that believe in bryce.

Otherwise no one. He would be a grad assistant at bama right now. As a thanks for the good times gig. Cause super processor can't figure a damn thing out on the field.

Don't get me wrong - this is not an excuse. However, to state an extreme example illustrating the point, dropping into KC is a very different situation than Carolina. IMO Bryce was always going to cap out at Teddy-lite IMO in the best of all cases. It's just a hypothetical.

    • That’s a book of the great life that the Panthers have had. So great to look back on the great players and seasons that we have had. But I think the book could have been twice the size. We have had a good 30 years, up and down the standings. i know we are in a bad spot right now, but hopefully before long we will be climbing back towards that Super Bowl championship
    • LmAO ..it does not make any sense whatsoever why a team that is currently 2-0 would  trade their backup Qb to a team that is 0-2 & in the same NFC conference ? & what is Seattle going to do if Geno Smith is injured ? wouldn't a team that is  currently 2-0 & is quiet  possibly going to the playoffs  want a decent plan B that already knows how to operate their system & has some form of chemistry with their players  , like I said before this is the NFL &teams especially ones like Seattle  are NOT going to trade their backup Qb 2 games into the regular season...just saying
    • Yeah, I can see that happening, but my only thing is, whoever he goes to, it's going to be a bad team. Not a whole lot of difference between us and say Denver, Jax, the Giants or the Colts. Of course, we're probably worse, but not by that much. Manning would have to pick his poison.
